known as the photographer, sakura girl/ sakura, twin-tails, bunny, blood babe, and b.b.
her quirk is called blood bend and includes the ability to use her blood and other's blood to create weapons for herself as well as controlling the blood in someone else's body. the most common weapon she creates is blades and swords.
the drawbacks of this are lightheadedness, passing out after extended use, and extreme blood loss. she has an extreme sense of smell and can smell the blood of other people that she's around. this is not as strong as her hearing. she can also hear heartbeats and feel the blood pumping through the veins of others. it is normally subdued through medication which she takes every morning (based on kyoukai no kanata).
her hero name is officially blood babe and is commonly referred to as b.b.
she wears cardigans often to cover up the bandages on her arms that hold various cuts that have been used for her quirk. she doesn't want anyone to think anything weird and instead has to explain her quirk to the people that confront her. her hair is always in a twin-tail style, which gave her the nickname (by bakugou katsuki), twin-tails.
she is often found sitting under sakura trees, thus the nickname was given by those who don't generally know her, sakura girl or sakura. many people also call her this because of the color of her hair. people call her the photographer because she is the leader of the newly-established photography club in u.a. she also takes photos of her classmates often (with their consent) and she posts them on her photography account on instagram and the official u.a. instagram account.
she got into u.a. through recommendations, as her mother's side of the family owns a hero agency. this is unlike her cousin, who got in through the entrance exams. she is related to rikido sato. they are cousins, but they are not too close.
she has an older brother in the hero industry that currently lives in tokyo. they get along extremely well, but he doesn't visit often as he is always caught up in hero work. hana doesn't talk much about him.
