i've always known i could do this--making extra appendages out of my blood like an extension of myself. it was like a jump boost, propelling myself up and flying above my classmates.
however, i stopped using it since as a kid, people around me would call it creepy and gory, discouraging me from being able to do it. people in general, don't like the sight of blood. but it's in their bodies too, so why fuss about it?
bakugou was the one to actually get me to use it. i revealed all that i could do to him while training since he pressured me on it, but i trusted him wholeheartedly. he was always protecting me from people, so why wouldn't i? even though he wouldn't admit it, he had a soft side.
right now, i was using my blood as extra arms to propel myself forward, not allowing myself to touch the ice that todoroki had spread. he could easily freeze the blood and i would need medical attention almost immediately after that. it wasn't like i couldn't control the temperature of my blood, but it would be an inconvenience.
around me, i could see my classmates having nearly the same idea as me. they must have anticipated the boy would do such a thing and acted immediately. i saw bakugou blasting himself through the air, almost flying. i sent a smirk at him and rushed my blood towards my feet, creating stilts to walk on the less iced areas.
as soon as i got on fully clear ground, i ran across and prepared my bloodied arms. they looked more like tentacles, but that made it easier for me to get through obstacles more elegantly. before i could have a chance to properly relax, a bunch of weird robots showed up in my line of vision. one even knocked over mineta, to which i snickered. karma.
everyone who hadn't got caught up in todoroki's ice had stopped, i included. i listened to the conversations of the people around me. these were apparently the robots from the entrance exam that i never took part in. how did riki deal with these guys?
