hana_bb feeling like someone in love

we were finally back to school as the break had ended. as always, i walked with katsuki in the morning to school and i picked up a last-minute lunch bento since i had forgotten to make one the night prior. in my defense, i was busy handling requests and questions from my club.
on the way, a couple of people recognized us from the sports festival and i had gotten extremely shy at the attention. they all told me i had a strong and cool quirk, and they didn't seem disgusted or scared about my hurting myself for the sake of handling my quirk.
katsuki on the other hand bathed in the attention and blew up at people who called him a villain. i had to pull him away so that he didn't actually kill anyone.
katsuki scolded me for being irresponsible, but it was important that i get back to my club as soon as i could. i put their due date as tomorrow, anyways. katsuki and i had gotten to the class pretty early and only a few students had been there.
we talked as everyone got into the class and began discussing how they had gotten noticed on the way to school as well. the bell was about to ring, so i said goodbye to katsuki and put myself in my seat in front of riki. as soon as aizawa sensei came in, everyone rushed to their seats and greeted him a good morning.
sitting with my cheek resting on my hand, i looked at our sensei. his bandages were gone, but he did have a scar under his eye that would be there for a while. he looked as scruffy as ever. i discreetly took a photo to showcase the quick recovery, since u.a. usually likes to show quick strength and recovery from issues.
aizawa sensei then explained that we would be choosing our code names or hero names. i smiled lightly as everyone got excited and jumped up. aizawa sensei scared them with his quirk, making me sweatdrop at the theatrics of this class.
"this is related to the pro hero drafts i mentioned earlier. the drafts begin in earnest in the second or third year, after students have gained experience and can become assets to heroes." his hair flies back down slowly, back into its scruffy mess. "in other words, for them to extend offers to first years like you shows that they are interested in your future potential."
i thought back to the pictures of all the arenas and different years that i looked over after i got back from hanging out with katsuki. they were impressive, but not nearly as much as our course. it was cool to see other courses competing, but i would say that overall, our's did the best and were very showy.
