PERSONALITY Azalea, unlike most demons, is very caring and loving towards others, even humans; though other demons find her behaviour strange, she doesn't care. When Azalea first met Sesshomaru, after learning about their betrothal, she was standoffish with him, not talking to him and seemingly stubborn when it came to getting along with the stoic Demon Lord. During the battle, Azalea is level-headed, being able to use her sly intellect to come up with battle plans on the spot and come up with new ones. Sesshomaru worries for her as she can be fearless and bloodthirsty during her fights, not caring for herself, though she is resilient, always getting back up. When Rin came into the picture, Azalea took to her immediately, becoming protective of the little girl, jumping to her defence much like a mother would protect their child. Sesshomaru silently admired this about her, seeing how Azalea looked after Rin and how she supported them in their ideas. Azalea is somewhat sassy as she has been known to give witty and sarcastic remarks that can annoy even the stoic Sesshomaru, though she has her tough and stoic moments.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION Humanoid Form Azalea is a petite young woman with fair skin, visibly large, prominent fangs, and sharp, stiletto nails with a base colour of light pink and ombre fading to a red-pinkish colour at the end where they point. Her hair is long, black, and wavy, reaching just below her waist, turning a flame-orange colour as it passes her elbows, and appears to be crimped into large, straight ridges, worn side-swept drastically to her left. She has soft-looking, pale pink eyes that appear a lighter colour around the rims of their irises, slanted downward toward the sides of her face and framed by notably long eyelashes, the pupils of which can appear slit as she transforms. Yokai Form Azalea's true form is a giant black dog with flame-orange markings along her back, similar to her hair in her human form. Her eyes become bright green, and the markings run along her back to her tail and start again at the tip. She has only fully transformed into her yokai form two times. Outfit When Azaela first met Sesshomaru, she wore a dark red kimono with a flower pattern, the lining black, secured by a red hanhaba obi with a black threaded obijime and a white obiage. She wore a pair of zori with black straps and white tabi socks. Azalea wore her hair in a ponytail, tied with a red and black checkered ribbon, though she refused to wear any make-up as her mother wanted. While travelling with Sesshomaru, Azalea wore a light pink kimono with a hemp leaf pattern, the lining a paler pink, secured by a red and white-checkered hanhaba obi with an orange-threaded obijime and a green obiage. Over this, she sports a long, dark-brown haori that reaches her calves, as well as a pair of zori with pink straps and white tabi socks wrapped with thick pieces of black material resembling kyahan. Azalea also wears a small pink ribbon on the left side of her head to keep her hair out of her face, along with a bamboo muzzle, which is secured around her jaw with a strip of red cloth. She has this for a personal reason, as Azalea hates the long fangs that are easily seen; her father had it made for her, and she can talk.
