(Allison's Perspective)

"Andy?" I asked.
"Yep?" he replied, tossing a baseball into the air and catching it repeatedly for something to do while watching the show.
"I love you. You're my best friend, and you're the best brother I could ever ask for, and I feel like it's very important to say that now that Violet is becoming so threatening." I confessed.
Andy froze and looked at me with sympathy.
He hugged me.
"I love you too, Ally. and I'm not gonna let her hurt you. I'm gonna make sure she gets locked away." he replied.
"Where?" I asked.
"At whatever nuthouse is nearby. I'm gonna tell Mom and Dad what happened and we're gonna lock her away. We're gonna make sure they fix her, Ally. And then she won't try to hurt you so badly. I'm not saying the fights will stop but at least she won't threaten you with knives anymore." Andy said.
"Andy, are you sure our parents will give half of a shit to admit her?" I asked doubtfully.
"She practically tried to stab you, Ally. If they don't care enough to admit her then I'll make them care. I'll hurt them if I have to. I'm not just doing this for you, I'm doing this for our family. For her buddies at school. For whoever interacts with her throughout the day." Andy replied.
"Okay." I replied with a nod.
I knew he was right, and I knew he was doing the right thing. That, I was extremely grateful for. Even if it's a little extreme to send an eight year-old to a mental hospital, she stabbed a hole through my door with a knife. She has serious issues that, if we let them get worse, disaster could occur.
We're gonna make sure she's okay again.
Even if it means sending her to a mental hospital.
