3rd person pov:

Kanroji and muichirou arrived at the water estate, they were surprised to see how gloomy the house looked. The windows looked grimy and stained, the small garden at the front of the house were filled with dead flowers and weeds. No light was shone inside the window and the white paint was almost peeling off the walls.

"What are you guys doing here?" A raspy voice shouted from behind. They turned around and saw the wind hashira walking up towards them.

"What are y'all doing at giyuu's estate?" Sanemi asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Good morning shinazugawa! Tomioka sent us here to get some Shogi puzzles for him" kanroji replied enthusiastically, "what about you? What are you doing here?"

"I was on patrol"

"Ah okay! Are you free right now?"

"No"

"Then do you want to join us?"

"No"

"Why not?" Kanroji sulked.

"Because I don't want to join y'all"

"You don't want to look at tomioka's house?" Muichirou asked, setting a bait for sanemi to bite onto. The wind hashira stared at the mist pillar. As much as he wanted to visit giyuu's house, he didn't want to go with those two.

"Its fine if you don't want to come with us, we know how much you hate being with us" muichirou's monotonously spoke, a small smile appeared on his lips. Sanemi gritted his teeth, muichirou was a smart kid. Sanemi had to decide between two options,

One: Refuse to go with them and risk kanroji complaining to giyuu, resulting in him being punished

Or

Two: go with kanroji and muichirou and deal with their shit.

Sanemi sighed, his hand twitched to grab their necks and throw them far away.

"Fine, I'll go with y'all" sanemi reluctantly agreeded. He gritted his teeth and faked a happy smile.

"Yay! Let's go!" Kanroji squealed. Muichirou was delighted and smiled. Sanemi huffed and stomped to the front door, he turned around and stared at the two younger hashiras.

"Don't yall fucking dare to cause a ruckus" sanemi growled. The two hashiras nodded, nothing bothering to listen to sanemi's warning as they were too excited the see their older brother figure's house. Sanemi slid the door open and walked into the mansion. The mansion was dark, barely any sunlight shined into the house and the floor was dusty. The wall paper was peeling off and the corners of the wall were mouldy. Spider webs hung from the celling and cockroaches skittered around the empty corridors. The air was musty and creepy crawlies filled in the spaces of the floor boards. Poisonous centipedes and spiders hid in dark spaces, waiting for an unsuspecting victim. Termites ate at the wooden houses, weakening it's integrity and increasing the possibilities of collapsing. Ants made burrows in the house, claming the walls as its own.

"Gosh... Did tomioka live in here..?" Kanroji muttered, taken aback by the condition of the mansion.

"Its barely liveable" sanemi coughed, fanning the air infront of him. The three hashiras explored the house, the living room was bare, the guest rooms were empty, the kitchen only had a dinning table and chair, the engawa which looked over the garden was home to dust and termites, the grass in the garden was yellow and the pond was filled with stagnant water, housing mosquito eggs and rotting koi fishes. The state of the mansion was awful, even a homeless man would refuse to live in there. Everything was dirty, unhygienic and a breading ground for diseases.
