33 - The next chapter

Giyuu's pov:

A fluttery feelings warmed up my body, I was touched by everyone. The house was beautiful, it was truly befitting of a hashira to live in one of these places. The exterior was blue, matching perfectly with my breathing style.

"Caw..! Caw...! Pillar..pillar meeting..now!" A crow squawk on my shoulder.

"Alright kanzaburo, tnx" I smiled warmly at my crow, it was a cute and small creature. 

"Shall we go?"

"Sure" I replied and we headed to the master's estate.

...

"Good morning children" the master spoke as he entered the room.

"Good morning master, I sincerely hope for your increased happiness" sanemi replied, I smiled at his words, he sounded so caring and respectful.

"Thank you. We shall commence out meeting"

...

"I see, thank you children for the support you had provided for the demon slayer corps. I'm happy to see your mission progressing well. You all are dismissed" the master announced and exited the room. I stood up, crackikg a few joints as I stretched. I turned around and was surprised by a sudden weight which hugged my waist.

"Giyuu!"

"Hi muichirou" I replied, patting his head. He really is adorable.

"Hi giyuu! How are you?" Kanroji squealed as she ruffled my hair (she had to tiptoe to reach the top of my head), I smiled warmly at the hand, she reminded me of nee-san whom I loved dearly.

"Its good to see you tomioka!" Rengoku shouted, smacking my back lightly.

"Yeah! You look flamboyant!"

I smiled, I was happy to hear such welcoming words from my colleagues. Their smiles and happy gazes were different from the cold and cruel treatment 6 months ago. I was happy they had a change of heart, even obanai nodded at me when I made eye contact with him. Himejima looked relieved that I was here and nemi's eyes were filled with joy and love.

3rd person pov:

The ravenette's life was finally falling startening to brighten up, the full future he had once imagined differs from the shining life fate had planned out for the water hashira. He could remember his life falling apart at the seams 2 years ago, he dreamt of death every passing second as he lived in the pit of eternal suffering. He remembered his misery but it was all in the past.

"Giyuu" the wind hashira called out in a serious tone, he passed a paper bag to the ravenette. Giyuu stared at it in confusion but he accepted it.

"What's this?" He asked, looking at his lover with a raised eyebrow. The mist and love hashira looked excitedly for the ravenette to look inside the bag, they stared at him with wide eyes, their lips were twitching into a smile which they desparately tried to conceal.

"Take a look"

"Alright.." giyuu mumbled. He opened the bag and his eyes watered. He gingerly pulled out the familiar cloth out of the bag and held it up. The texture was soft, the maroon red of the cloth was fair and the green and yellow patterns were vibrant. He hugged the cloth tightly, tears fell from his eyes as a wave of emotions rushed over him. Relief danced in his veins, he felt the dead souls of his friend and sister hugging him as he cradled the cloth in his arms.

"How.." he croaked out.

"Nezuko reversed the burning process with her blood demon art"

"I.. thank you all so much" giyuu choked, he smiled happily as tears of joy ran down his face. He donned on his beloved haori, he haven't worn it for a long time and had terribly missed the comfort it provided. Obanai smiled softly at the sight, he found it nice to see his colleague reuniting with his haori which they had burned for their own entertainment. Sanemi walked toward the ravenette and the other two pillars moved away, he pulled his love into a hug, gentily patting his back as he comforted the water hashira. It was an amusing sight to see the hot headed pillar being so kind and loving towards someone. Kanroji squealed and shinobu covered muichirou's eyes, tengen held in a laugh while the flame pillar smiled proudly. Obanai rolled his eyes at the lovely Scene and smirked a little which was luckily not noticed by the rest. The stone pillar could sense the happy atmosphere and he smiled, mumbling a short thanks to the gods for making his colleague happy. Giyuu wiped away his tears, he was truly grateful for what they had done for him. His puzzling and miserable life was slowly falling into place, the broken pieces were repaired and the missing pieces were found, and he could finally see himself smiling brightly in a future full of joy and happiness.

"Thank you all so much" the ravenette repeated.

"Welcome!" Kanroji shouted enthusiastically.

"You better now do anything stupid and live your life happily or I will kill you myself" sanemi whisper- growled in giyuu's ear. The ravenette laughed and hugged his lover back.

"Alright"

The ravenette's hellish chapter in his life had finally came to an end. He could now move onto the next chapter of his life which was filled with prestine white pages and laughter. The efforts he placed in the past 6 months of trying to bring his life back on track paid off, he can live happily and look past the misery he had to live through.

"I'm proud of you" sanemi whispered, "you're strong as fuck"

"My recovery was slow though"

"Recovery is never easy, remember that"

"Yeah", he chuckled in agreement, "it really was
