Fennec foxes have very large ears. They live in deserts of north Africa and the middle east. Fennec foxes can live up to ten years. They eat insects, rodents, birds, eggs, and plant matter. The Fennec foxes scientific name is vulpes zerda. Their coat is pale beige in color and they can weigh up to 3 pounds,a very small member in the Canidae family.
