Side striped jackals live in Africa. They can live up to 12 years. They eat mammals, reptiles, insects, and plant matter. Side striped jackals can even run up to speeds of 40 miles per hour. Their coat is buff-Gray with the back darker than the underside. They can be solitary or in groups of up to 7 individual side striped jackals.
