Bat eared foxes live in Ethiopia, Somalia, southern Sudan, and southern Africa. They can live up to 10 years and they can weigh up to 10 pounds. Bat eared foxes eat termites, other insects, mammals, birds, and plant matter. The bat eared foxes scientific name is otecyon megalotis. They are yellow-brown in color with black ears and face, and a bushy tail with a black tip.
