The African hunting dog lives in sub-Saharan africa. It can and will eat any sized animal. African hunting dogs are also known as cape hunting dogs. Their scientific name is lycaon pictus. African hunting dogs have large ears and a head that resembles a hyena. They have a black line in the middle of the forehead and no two African hunting dog's coats area alike. African hunting dogs only have four toes on each foot.
