Chapter 33

Y/n's POV

Shot after shot was thrown back as we all splashed around in the pool.

It was much warmer than the ocean, especially now.

I was floating on top of the water looking at the stars threw the skylight.

Topper and Sarah had left up to they're room after Topper almost puked in the pool. So now it was just me and Rafe.

And for the first time ever, being drunk, I wasn't horny.

I was in a state of euphoria that I wasn't ready to get out of.

Rafes POV

I. Am. Fucked. Up.

That may be an exaggeration. But Y/n was definitely fucked up. She's been floating around the pool for what seemed like forever.

I was sat in one of the pool chairs just watching her.

She seemed gone. Like she was on a different brain wave.

Which I guess she kind of was but Ive never seen her in such a state. I couldn't tell if it was peace or if it was just the high bringing her to a different place.

I stood up and slowly went into the water, not to disturb her.

"Did you know that a mushrooms DNA is closer to a humans DNA rather than a plant?" I heard her ask.

"I did not know that." I said as I gently put my hand on her hand to show I was next to her.

"Did you also know, that they are the only produce that carry's vitamin D. So if we didn't have the sun we'd all have to eat mushrooms." She said running her hand over the ripples in the water.

"Where did all the mushroom facts come from?" I asked her.

"I'm not sure. I remember learning about it in science in middle school. It just came back to me." She giggled shutting her eyes.

"That's cool, how you feeling?" I asked rubbing my hand over her stomach.

"Amazing. You should try looking at the stars. They keep making cool shapes. It's almost like they're pouring out of the sky trying to reach me." I genuinely didn't know what she's talking about.

"Baby I think your trippin." I chuckled and so did she.

"I totally am." Her smiled was big as she opened her eyes and looked at me. She floated up and wrapped her arms and legs around me.

"I fucking love you." She moved my face side to side and kissed my forehead.

"I love you to. When do you wanna go back to the room?" I asked her and she let go with her arms and leaned back on the water while I held her thighs.

"I just wanna stay this way forever. Euphoric and blissful. With you and me. Just us together. Would you spend the rest of your life with me if you got the chance?" She asked and I was kind of taken aback.

"The rest of my life? That's a long time... but I think I would rather spend it with you then anyone else." I told her.

"I want to live in like an old Victorian style house. The house would have darker shades, but it'll still look like a married couple lives there. Like the sweet married couple next door in the movies. And I want a gecko, and we're gonna name it Cocoa." She said.

"You've got this all planes out don't you?" I questioned.

"Mhm and I want a tire swing because I've wanted one since I was little but my mom said no....... When we get to the room, can you rub my back?" She sat back up and leaned her head on my shoulder.
