ELLYRA AWOKE TO yet another pounding headache. Sitting up slightly, she could see the sun peaking above the mountains and her father with maids packing things into a bag. "Father?" She groggily muttered while rubbing her eyes. "Rest Ellyra. You shall need your energy for the trip ahead of us," He spoke while supervising the maids packing her bags.

"Trip? What is going on? Where are we going?" Ellyra quickly sat up whining at her head pounded even more at the quickness of her movement.

"To Pentos. It is high time you join me and your sisters," Daemon walked over to her holding onto her hand.

"I do not wish to go. King's Landing is my home," Her face filled with worry.

"There is nothing left here for you. Aside from that I would not feel comfortable leaving you without my protection," He shook his head remaining firm on taking her to Pentos.

"There is nothing left here for me? Or you father?" Ellyra quipped taking her hand out of his furrowing her brows.

"I am not leaving you here," Daemon's words held a tone of seriousness.

"You did not have any issue with that before," Ellyra crossed her arms scoffing. Giving her a questioning look, Daemon realized she must have not remembered her words after taking so much milk of the poppy.

"I have not been the father I wished to be for you, am I trying to right that wrong."

The princess wanted to believe her father. She yearned for so long to hear him say these things to her. Yet, now that he did she only questioned it. He made a vow promising to not abandon her, but did it anyway. Ellyra could not trust he would change when they left to Pentos. It would drive her to madness if he let her down yet again.

Thinking on her feet, Ellyra only put on a smile and nodded. "Could I bathe before our journey?" She asked queuing for him to leave her chambers.

Daemon grinned back at her agreeing, "Of course. Ready yourself within an hour, we shall take our leave early since you are up to it." He left her with the hand maids who began to prepare the tub for their princess.

"Wait for me in outside my chambers, I wish to bathe in here alone," She commanded the three women who gave nervous looks.

"Princess I'm afraid your father has already commanded us not to leave your chambers," One hand maid sheepishly spoke up.

Ellyra scoffed at her father's wishes, "Fine, wait for me in my chambers. I wish to bathe alone." They exchanged looks with one another before curtly nodding and leaving their princess alone in her bathing room.

Once they shut the door, Ellyra quickly went the window sill in her bathing room to seeing how far it would be down. Hastily the princess gathered all the fabric she could find which had only been a few towels and her old bed sheets awaiting to be washed. Her hands quickly began tying everything together, making a long sturdy make shift rope.
