The sun was already setting. Orange hues from the sky bounced at the worn-down houses at plebeian's street in Eastern Kingdom. A young girl with blue hood was walking with no guardians or parents around her. On her hands was a small basket with blanket on top of it, covering whatever was inside.

She took a turn on a small alley where the light of the sun couldn't reach. The surroundings were dark and cold but the child was not even scared or afraid, not even the slightest.

She continued on her path until she saw a small door with small light peaking through the holes. She halted on her steps and knocked on the door. After a few knocks, a man opened it. His eyes were bloodshot and his body was skinny to the point it's malnourished. His disheveled hair didn't even help his already miserable appearance. However, the little girl was still not frightened at all. Instead, she showed the basket to the man and immediately, the man took the basket harshly and pushed a pouch to the girl.

The man acted like a beast the moment he opened the basket; bunch of bottled potions or more specifically, illegal drugs were inside and the man hurriedly drank one of the bottles. Afterwards, the potion kicked in instantly and he felt he was in heaven once again, numbed of every pain he felt before.

The little girl was not bothered by the scene, instead she looked at the pouch and bunch of silver and copper coins were in it.

"Mister, your money is short of few silver coins. You need to pay for delivery too," the young girl said.

The man took some coins from his pocket and threw it on the child before he smashed the door closed and enjoyed the new bought drugs he had.

"Rude. No need to throw it," the child murmured in annoyance as she picked up the pieces of silver coins.

After she collected the coins on the ground, she put it inside her pocket instead; making sure she separated the two batch of coins.

"Finally! My job is done!" She said in a tired manner. Her back slanted in fatigue as she walked slowly away from the dark alley.

"Seriously, this is really tiring," she sighed and took her hood off from her silvery white hair to let some air freshen her up. However, her question also brought memories and reasons why was she in that situation.

Why was such a small child working? Not just a simple work but an illegal work.

This child was not an ordinary child. No one in her surroundings would ever guess who she really is. After all, who would think someone could transmigrate from another world? Yes, she transmigrated.

She was just a normal citizen in the country of Philippines before she transmigrated to her favorite book "Fight of the Blessed." She was just a 28-year-old woman, an orphan and working a seven to five P.M. job. Even herself didn't expect she would teleport out of nowhere after re-reading her favorite novel.

Right now, she was in the body of an eight-year-old child; specifically, body of Charlotte Reynesford or Lottie as nickname, the daughter of a noble man and the 2nd male lead of the story: Anthony Reynesford.

Actually, her father didn't know about her existence yet. Well, her mother, Elinor Hargreve; a noble before but a fallen one now raped her father on his best friend's birthday, the crown prince Ethelson Varantyn.

'She is really a trash, isn't she?" Lottie commented on her mind with a sour face as she remembered who was her mother in the novel.

"Raping someone then committing suicide because your family became poor, not thinking about the child you would left behind. Dude, just spell trash and a whore," she complained in frustration but the moment she realized what she said, she immediately covered her mouth and looked around.
