Words Both Heard and Hidden

Luna Remy Sallow-Uley

Luna had spent the rest of her lunch break walking along the tree line bordering the schools grounds, humming softly to herself as she took in the brisk cool air that came naturally with Forks despite it being early spring. She felt somewhat guilty for what had occurred during her time with her adoptive sisters new friends, but that guilt was honestly more targeted towards Angela and Eric, both seemed to be really nice people and she hated how uncomfortable the situation would have been for them.

Angela had made an effort to approach her when she came back inside, surprising the demititan as she apologised for her friends and agreed with her that their gossip wasn't appropriate nor kind in the slightest. Luna had quickly brushed off the taller girl's apologies, offering one of her own before the brunette was kind enough to show her to her advanced biology class.

The ravenette currently sat alone at a table in the back row, her silver eyes watering as barely concealed giggles choke her lungs. She was slightly concerned when Angela had shown her to her current class and found Isabella already seated besides yet another Ambrose, but at this point, she could not have been more grateful for the free comedic performance playing out before her.

The vampire was on the brink of falling off the edge of his chair, his face scrunched in a painful grimace, his hand cupping both his airways tightly and eyes pinched shut. The discomfort was all but branded in bright neon on his forehead yet the brunette besides him kept pulling herself closer to him, Isabella's persistence both amusing the ravenette and making her somewhat pitiful for the clearly mated Ambrose besides her.

It was clear that the vampire had found his singer on top of simply being very uncomfortable and the ravenette actually admired his resilience.

Overall, the scene made her feel guilty at how humorous it was despite the possible fatality of the situation. The cold one could lose control at any possible moment and snap, leaving a class of thirty students and one professor rather past tense within the fraction of a second. The arguably, if the vampire hadn't lost all control with his singers lustful attentions being solely upon him for the last half hour or more, she doubted he ever would.

That and the ravenette was rather confident in her premonitions and the knowledge that she would see any possibility of massacre before the thought even crossed the immortals mind.

The ravenette continued to silently watch the two for a moment, before paying attention to the class. Science was a subject that she thoroughly enjoyed and came easy to her, especially biology, so despite already knowing most of the content being taught, she happily fell into the lesson.

When the class ended, the ravenette was one of the first to leave the room, watching pitifully as the vampire in front of her all but sprinted out of the room, ploughing through anyone in his way. Curiously, it appeared that the bronze haired Ambrose was heading in the same direction as her, all but ripping the office door off its hinges. Waiting patiently by the glass, the ravenette ignored the conversation between the vampire and the receptionist, quickly picking up on the fruitless argument between the two as the vampire tried to persuade the aging woman to allow him to switch his classes.

The ravenette actually giggled when the vampire tried and failed to dazzle the woman into following through with his wishes.

"What are you laughing at?" A bitter voice sounded behind her, Luna not even needing to turn around to know that a particular brunette was scowling at her, clearly flustered with frustration.

"Maybe you should try finding another to subject to your affections, I'm pretty sure that awful gossip at lunch said he was taken by the blonde goddess he was sitting with." Luna suggests. "Besides, he seems rather introverted."
