A/N- this chapter's a bit (well I don't want to say action-packed because it isn't that extreme, but there is some intense action) out there. It isn't smutty at all but things happen and idk you don't really expect it probably bc I didn't really expect it until my brain got this idea as I was writing parts of it and one thing led to another so yeah.
Enjoy!

So hey guys! I don't really know what to say so here's the chapter!

"So last weekend was fun," I started, once Liam walked to my side. He lifted his head up once he saw me, sending me a small grin.
"Thank you for going with me," he murmured shortly.
"Yeah, thanks so much for having me," I agreed. "Remember, I'm still in your debt so if you ever want anything from me, don't be hesitant to ask. I'm willing to do just about anything for you, Liam."
"Well, for one thing you could break up with Lou," he mumbled incoherently.
"What?" I questioned, pretending like I hadn't understood what he had said.
"Nothing," he quickly responded. I felt heat rise to my cheeks but ignored it as quickly as it had come.
I nodded my head in response, not quite knowing what to say.
We continued traipsing to school, neither of us having any motivation for the prison we were about to enter.
The worst part about this journey was that we were silent. No words were even exchanged. He didn't even try to make conversation after our brief one.
I couldn't stand this. Liam and I were as close as could be and now we were suddenly just not talking?
This silence was deafening. I had a strong urge to just scream my lungs out, yelling at him to engage in conversation with me.
I resumed walking, keeping my hooded gaze locked on him. He didn't notice. He kept walking with his eyes on the floor.
I took in his appearance. It was clear he knew how to dress himself-- quite nicely actually.
His hair was perfectly parted and combed to the side, presumably being coated by a thin layer of hairspray. Sure, his hair always looked nice, but he just looked exceptional today.
My eyes raked down his torso, which was adorned in a deep blue button down shirt, which was a bit formal for school, yet appealed to me nevertheless.
I continued down past a belt wrapped around his waist to his dark-wash skin-tight jeans that were firmly wrapped around his legs, tight enough to capture the slight bump of his--
I lurched forward due to the glob of saliva that had metaphorically slipped down the wrong pipe. I clutched onto my chest as I began coughing up a lung or two.
"Holy shit," Liam panicked, jogging to my side. "Are you okay? What happened?"
He kept buzzing with a bunch of questions, earning not a single response from me, as I was choking.
In a few short moments, I had regained control of my respiratory system, breathing like a normal person should. Well, I'm definitely not normal so I suppose I shouldn't compare myself to a normal person.
"Ali, are you okay?" Liam asked. placing his hand around my shoulders.
I nodded my head, closing my eyes and taking a deep breath.
