A/N- okay so I've realized something about this story... There are always more reads on the Liam chapters!

I don't even get how this happens tbh! Like an Ali chapter will have like 14, which already is a nice amount for me, and then the Liam one will have like 20!

Lol do you guys just skip right to Liam or something because Ali has some pretty important things in hers too you know haha

Well that's strange.. but I appreciate it nonetheless :)

Although, here's a pretty kickass chapter ;)

'I can't believe I have to go to school today,' I thought, mentally groaning to myself.

School was the last place I wanted to be at since yesterday.

But I wasn't going to let my mind dwell on the past events. After all, the past is the past.

I pulled my phone out of my jacket pocket to skip the song that began playing. Instantly after, 'Wildest Dreams' by Taylor Swift began playing.

I let the grin make its way to my face as I lifted up a hand, shoving the earphones even more in my ear.

"He said let's get out of this town
Drive out of the city Away from the crowds

I thought heaven can't help me now
Nothing lasts forever
But this is gonna take me down

He's so tall, and handsome as hell
He's so bad but he does it so well
I can see the end as it begins, my one condition is-"

Unfortunately, right before the chorus came, I was already interrupted by a voice calling my name.

I clicked on the pause button on the headphones, my head snapping up from the ground.

"Ali, Ali, oh my god, you're back!" Liam yelled, running over to me, but being careful enough to not skip on any ice or anything.

His hands slipped around my waist while the earphones fell from my ears. "I missed you so much. I can't believe you left me alone yesterday."

"But I ended up texting you like 800 times," I joked, faking an annoyed expression.

"Sorry, I know. Where were you?" he asked as we pulled away.

"Um," I mumbled.

I didn't exactly want to say what went on yesterday that would've caused me to miss a whole day of school.

Let's just say there was a bit of an "occurrence" between my two parents that left me completely distraught.

Yeah, I think that's a mature way of writing it.

Of course I didn't want to tell Liam that though. It's not that I don't trust him but because I don't feel it's the right time for my self-pity.

"Family emergency," I answered. That kind of seemed to be the default answer for these kinds of situations.

"Aww, I'm so sorry, Ali," he murmured softly, letting one of his infamous pouts make its way to his face. "You know, you can always call me if you ever need a friend to talk to because I promise I will listen to you. I care for you, Ali. Don't forget that."
