Hello, children! :) It is I, Alissa but you could call me any of the nicknames listed before.

I was in charge of writing the first, guess you can say, "chapter" in our lives.

So fasten up your seat belts because you're in for a bumpy ride.

Here goes nothing...

"I swear to God he's not though," Sierra yelled at the girls, a pout on her face. "He's too hot to be."

"The hot guys tend to be," Gracie shot back.

I groaned, shoveling spaghetti in my mouth. Only every day did these girls gossip about things that I barely even knew.

Don't get me wrong, I love these girls to death but when you're forced to sit at a lunch table for forty-five minutes and listen to debates on whether or not Ms. Carr's boobs looked real, then it gets annoying.

I also have known them ever since sixth grade so I appreciate our friendship. Plus, I'm pretty antisocial so I pretty much have to stick with them during lunch considering I'm in their lunch period.

"What do you think, Lyssa?" My head snapped up to see the three girls staring at me, expectantly waiting for an answer.

"Huh?" I stupidly responded with.

Cami giggled, shaking her head to the side. "I was talking about the new kid."

"We have a new kid?" I asked sluggishly. It wasn't my fault I hardly got any sleep last night. My stupid baby brother wouldn't shut the f- up. Yes, I refrain from swearing as best as I can.

"Duh. Don't you know Liam whatever-the-hell-his-last-name-is?" Gracie questioned.

"Doesn't ring a bell," I murmured, beginning to use my fingers as a method of keeping my eyes open. It wasn't working so well.

"What's gotten you so out of it today? It's not even Monday," Sierra commented curiously.

"Charlie. That dimwit kept me up all night with his constant screaming and crying. I told my parents that it was a mistake to have another kid but what do they do? Have one anyways."

"Aw, Al, cheer up. I know what it's like having an annoying little demon in your house. Eventually they grow up and begin to get less annoying. But sometimes they still act super immature and are just as annoying. Either way, you still have to deal with him," Cami spoke, shrugging her shoulders lightly.

"Wow, great pep talk, Cam," I replied sarcastically, widening my eyes and nodding animatedly. "So anyways, what were you guys asking me about the new kid?"

"Oh yeah," Gracie said, refreshing her mind. "Well since you don't know him, you can't really answer this question. But we were wondering if you think he's gay. I'm thinking that he might be."

"I don't see how you could think that," Sierra commented. "He's a complete hunk with muscles and everything. He's awfully attractive and he even has a light amount of stubble below his chin."

"Gracie is right though," I agreed, causing her to smile in glee. "Some hotties are gay. For example, Neil Patrick Harris." I wiggled my eyebrows, smirking towards my friends.

"Oh my god he's a hunk," Cami squealed, taking a bite from a granola bar.

Sierra scoffed, rolling her eyes. "Fine then. Just tell me what you think if you see him within the next three periods."

I nodded as the bell began to ring.

"Shit," Gracie panicked. "I didn't get to finish my food!" Instantly, she began stuffing her face like a squirrel, her cheeks filled with food. "Ah gah goh!" she spoke (which I think could be translated as 'I gotta go' but I'm not sure), grabbing her backpack and rushing into the halls.
