"Jingle bells, jingle bells! Jingle all the wa-"

"Could you just stay quiet for one minute?!" I groaned, slouching back into my chair lazily. "The neighbours can hear you from a mile away!!"

Jake looked at me mischievously, dropping the silver tinsel he was holding to the ground, "Well I'm sorry ya big ol' grump, but I'm trying to bring Christmas cheer! Get into the spirit would ya?" He chuckled, pointing at my oversized sweater I was wearing that I had been given by my mom the Christmas before, that read 'Bah Humbug' in bold red letters.

I folded my arms, and scoffed at him, "Yeah, well, don't you think we're all a little too old for this crap?"

Everyone in the room looked at me like I'd gone insane.

"Zander!" Hailey yelled at me, "Thank god Bethany's in the kitchen!" She facepalmed, giving me a stare, "You are like a replica of the grinch!"

I raised my eyebrows at her and smirked, "Oh come on, I'm not that bad!" I joked.

"HEY GUYS!!" I heard incoherent thumping coming down the stairs before a loud crash at the bottom. We all looked over at to see Milly wrapped up in decorations at the bottom of the stairs.

"Hey I though we already had a Christmas tree?" I smirked, putting a hand on my hip as everyone rolled their eyes at me.

"Shut up, Zander." Milly stuck her tongue at me before getting up.

As everyone made their way back into the living room, I contemplated on whether or not I should be put out of my misery and spend the rest of the day in my room. I thought about it before I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Zander?" I recognised that voice from anywhere.

"Luke." I spun around as he pulled me into an embrace. "H-hey cut it out!" I blushed as he peppered kisses all over my face like an idiot.

"What? I'm just trying to spread you some Christmas cheer!" He smiled gleefully- and may I add adorably.

"Tch, more like infecting me with it.." I grumbled.

"Oh come on, honey! It's Christmas! Lighten up!" He pecked me on the cheek.

Suddenly I heard giggling coming from the living room and I saw Luke smirking at me. I cocked a brow as I skeptically looked around before my eyes fell on a mistletoe above our heads.

My face instantly turned red. I couldn't even speak. I saw Luke looking at me with a stupid grin on his face and his lips puckered.

"Shall we~?" He winked at me, holding my waist gently. I blushed hard, but of course I wasn't gonna let this opportunity slide.

So I put my hands on his shoulders, took a deep breath, and kissed him passionately. I could hear the rest of the club behind us cheering and clapping, admiring us, but frankly I didn't care, I kept kissing Luke until we both ran out of breath and pulled away.

We both smiled at eachother and put our foreheads together.

"So, did that get you more into the Christmas spirit?" Luke whispered to me, smiling.

I blushed, "Oh shut up, you!" I folded my arms and backed away from him.

He smiled at me in adoration, "Merry Christmas Zander."

I smiled back, "Merry Christmas, Luke."
