19 Traitor

You woke up abruptly, but oddly there was no fear. Only...peace?

Looking around the room, there was no one.

As your eyes wandered they went down to your body. Suddenly, the moments you had with Jotaro flooded your mind. A small smile forming.

"I love you"
He really said it.

'Where did he go?' You thought.

A tall man walked through the room door. You went to reach for the covers on the floor but failed as you fell over.

"All this traveling but this seems to be the best view"

He was directly in front of you and thisposition was not helping. You were on your knees, looking up, doe eyed, at Jotaro. To make it worse he towered over you.

A light chuckle came out of him. He seemed much lighter now. As you returned the smile, disgust washed over you.

There were no words you could think of. All there  was were these strong feelings of detachment towards the beefcake of a man. He kneeled down while Star platinum handed you a shirt. "Is everything ok, y/n?"

The scene playing did not look good. The more you stared into his eyes, you began to feel this century battle Dio was talking about. Jotaro's eyes were showing more emotion than normal, concern.

He didn't know what to do. His vulnerability from last night still lingered.

Jotaro was the first to break eye contact, wide eyeing your side. He picked up a piece of your hair and slowly twirled it, "it's spreading."

You knew he wasn't an idiot. Your silence was gonna ruin what you built, and in an instant he copied your coldness and stood up, "We're having a meeting, get dressed."

And like that he left the room without another word. Why were you numb? Didn't you like him?
You've been pulled in the middle of this bloodbath and you knew it wouldn't end well for Dio or Jotaro.

Flashes of knives falling and a road sign seized your mind.

Arriving to the room, you saw a smug smirk from Kakyoin as his eyes paced from you to Jotaro. You awkwardly laughed and rolled your eyes.

Joesph was distressed, "Where is Polnareff it's already been more than five minutes!"

"Yeah you'd think he's fighting against an enemy stand" you added in. You made brief eye contact with Jotaro but all he did was scoff and cross his arms.

Kakyoin laughed and walked over to you, "20 bucks the stand wins."

Both of you crossed your arms as if you were challenging the other. You took notice that your hair was back to normal.

"Nah, Polnareff would only lose if it's a woman."you responded, but that comment came out too flirtatious for your liking. Amused by your tone kakyoin played in, " touché."

There was a heavy tension between you two.

Thankfully for you Polnareff walked in. Although there was blood dripping from his head and wounds covering his body. Avdol took the chance to speak "You're not very punctual and you look like hell, anyways we need to make a plan if this stand enemy attacks, Polnareff pay attention."

Polnareff fell to the floor, "You're joking right?"

Polnareff was forced to go down to the police office for questioning. Something about finding a dead kid in his room.  You stayed with Joesph and Avdol because you refused to be alone with kakyoin and Jotaro.

Joesph said polanreff would be fine because of the speed wagon foundation.

You were zoned out in this conversation until you heard a familiar name, "Dio"

Almost in an instant the streaks came back. The men were too busy to notice. The roots kept moving further down your hair.

'Maybe it's triggered by something like a name or a feeling' you felt your stand speaking in your mind or maybe it's just you speaking? Aren't stands just a replica of strength that already lives in you? Am I having an existential crisis?"

Joesph continued speaking, "We can read his thoughts the same way he can read ours." Your head shot up, did he know? Will they think I'm a traitor

Both Avdol and Joesph took notice, "Relax y/n hermit purple can be used without a camera and will go undetected! Now this is heavy information we must be careful not to spill."

Joesph proceeded to demonstrate on an old tv. Placing his hands on either side, he changed countless channels, explaining that through the words people say, it will form a message for the ear.

Your heart sank.

"Wait what was that? What the hell did it just say?" Joesph yelled.

You prayed Avdol didn't pick it up.

"Mr Joestar I could be wrong but I think it said that there is a traitor who is walking among us."

This was it. You were done.

"WHAT? KAKYOIN?" you and joesph said in unisons. "It can't be!" Joesph said.

Was kakyoin apart of this too in case you failed? Does that mean dio was tricking you, of course he was. God you are an idiot for believing him.

"Kakyoin is Dio's loyal servant?" Avdol was confused.

They didn't know. They thought it was a one person message but it would be you. Your Dios loyal servant.

The streaks went away. Dio got his inside scoop. As Joesph flipped further in the channels, Dio appeared in the tv. The same pose you saw from when he was in your mind. Back turned, Star birthmark right above his left shoulder.

The room got significantly colder. Dio turned to speak.

"Joestar you bastard, you're watching me aren't you~"

If you could piss yourself you would. Despite meeting this guy like three times now, you could never break that invisible weight of fear.

"well watch this"

the tv began to crack. "DIO HES FOUND US!" Joesph ran to you and tackled you down to the floor. Just like that the tv exploded.

What the fuck is all you could think. You weren't blinded anymore. You hated dio and you were going to stop him. Even if you have to give up your own life.

First you have to convince kakyoin the same thing. Joesph and Avdol don't want to believe he is a loyal puppet to dio. They're focused on finding him first.

"So Where is kakyoin?"

Joesphs question finally hit.

"He's with Jotaro."
