9) It was you

(I strongly recommend reading the chapter before this again if you aren't new, I'm sorry it's taken so long to post BUT BE HAPPY I learned how to actually use grammar)

'Damn this guy has some serious deep rooted trauma issues'

You put your hands up and with your best helpless girl voice, you pleaded, "h-hey listen I'm sorry please don't hurt me"

This seemed to have struck something inside of polnareff, his eyes had a look of heartbreak as he turned pale

"Y/N!! MOVE YOU DAMN.IDIOT" jotaro had enough of this hostage banter. Polnareff snapped back into reality and went to strike at jotaro as he approached you. To your luck, silver chariot ended up cutting you pretty badly on your leg instead.

Jotaro held you down as Advol grabbed Polnareffs attention. You yelled in pain as Jotaro examined the cut, "STOP STOP FFUCK." Kakyoin rushed by your side using his stand to wrap around the wound.

"Keep pressure on it." Was the one liner jotaro decided to use. Something about his was irking you more than usual today, "Don't you ever say thank you? Or maybe show a little gratitude when it's your fault I got cut to begin with."

Things got quiet between you two.

Kakyoin was caught awkwardly in the middle again, "guys-"

Jotaro was gonna cut him off but decided it was useless. He simply glared at you and walked away.

You sat up, with pain and emotions overwhelming you, "y/n" Kakyoin said, "we're in the middle of an attack, you're a person who needs to be reassured, have closure. Jotaro doesn't know how to give you that, it's who you are not who he is."

'Since when is kakyoin wise'  you had no more time to think when polnareff started yelling,

"NAIVE NAIVE NAIVE, YOU ARE SO VERY NAIVE."

Kakyoin was shocked, "HES THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING"

Suddenly, almost comically, polnareff bursted in flames falling to the ground. Avdol threw a dagger, it landing perfectly in front of polnareffs face. Avdol explained how he beat him and honestly it made no sense to you, but eh you won.

Polnareff looked full of thought and yet empty at the same time, almost like a husk.

Avdol snapped grabbing your attention. Jotaro was impressed as was kakyoin, "Even in your final moments you still act with chivalry, you could've thrown that dagger at me, even working with dio you still carry yourself with honor." Avdol was acting all cool and honorable buuuut didn't interest you same thing different day.

'This is so tiring I wonder if we can get new clothes I smell like ash ughhhh'

"AHH THOSE TENTACLES ARE SO DISGUSTING"

You jumped from joesphs screams, "A FLESH BUD NU UH  Yo who the hell is this dio guy and how does he have so many flesh buds, man can make a store-" everyone just stared at you but you didn't care this dio guy was getting mad annoying.

"Quit your bitching old man" and just like that jotaro destroyed the bud. Joesph was excited "WE CAN BE BUDDIES NOW" joesph yells. You chimed in, "haha we all share the same F L E S H and BUD" making puns with joesph was amazing until a certain emo edgy wanna be ruined your mood.

"Hey kakyoin, don't people who make stupid puns all the time get on your nerves? Or is it just me?

You'd decided to play around with this and get some revenge. Putting your arms around him you whispered, "Well jojo if I can remember you used to like my puns" not even waiting for a reaction, you let go and walked away...

"Pathetic."

Your pov

Avdol was mentioning how now we had to go on a boat that a speedwagon? Foundation had sent out. "What's a speedwagon?" All joesph could do was laugh, "He was a great man, funny one to bother at that."

Joesph looked sad for once, he must've gone through a lot growing up, seems every jojo does.

You bumped into someone, kakyoin, as you guys were walking it seemed polnareff once again crashed the party. You hid behind kakyoin not wanting another play through of what happened last time.

He thanked avdol for freeing him from dio, to which avdol gave credit to Jotaro who just- "Dont need your thanks."

That's when you spoke up, "do you have any manners?" Something seemed to have set off jotaro, he grabbed your arm and dragged you away from the group. Without warning or even care he slams you against a cargo truck.

"Listen. And listen closely."

Just like that jotaros grip got tighter. Rougher. It would definitely leave a mark.

"Jotaro are you fucking crazy what's up with you" the pain from his grip was getting worse.
"Stop being fucking annoying, stop talking to me, don't even look at me"

you were pissed. "DO YOU THINK I REALLY WANT TO BE HERE WITH YOU? YOURE THE ONE WHO LEFT ME. HONESTLY WHAT RIGHT DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE TREATING PEOPLE LIKE SHIT." you couldn't help or stop the tears coming from your cheeks, "you left me jotaro."

And like that he kissed you.

"Y/n? Are you even listening to me?"

You snapped out of your dream state when jotaro gripped your arm

"Yeesh did you really have to throw me against a car?" You brushed off fake dirt pretending you were in a movie.

"The reason I brought you here is because-" Jotaro stopped. He was thinking, now that he got you here he didn't know what to say.

Still confused and hurt by the dream state you were in when he flung you against a crate, harder than joesphs metal arm, you didn't want to hear it.

"Save it kujo, it was your choice to leave" you knew you should stop there because nothing else would get to him anyways, he wouldn't care. It just wasn't who you were though so you continued.

"I don't even take it personal because you happen to treat everyone one who cares about you like shit" he was taken aback by this not knowing what to say.

"you don't communicate with anyone you just expect people to do the things you want and I'm tired of your bullshit. I don't want to be here, hell I don't know what's going on or why I'm even connected to this. I don't know what a stand is and I don't know what I did to you or where I went wrong and I've spent years trying to figure it out. I see it clearly now though."

With every word you would walk closer and closer to him.

Looking him straight in the eyes, making sure the hat wasn't covering it you finished, "all this time I thought i was the problem but no"

"It was you."

I'm trying to make the characters as canon as they would be and I feel like jotaro and y/n need to have a natural vulnerable moment in order for them to get romantic <3 stay safe love y'all
