Part: II The Somewanted Guests

You were walking home no longer wet, more damp than anything. Walking into your empty, cozy, small house, you threw your things on the couch and flopped over. Your body being engulfed in comfort made you too lazy to do anything else.  An hour passes as you hear the door knob shaking around. 'Shit 'you thought to yourself. "Y/N L/N!!" Your mom yelled your name as loud as she could. She sounded pissed.

You sat up from the couch that was conveniently next to the door,  "ShhHHhHh im right here no need to yell...yeesh." Your mother immediately sent a death glare in your direction. With that look you just knew that your better of shutting up. "Sorry" you mumbled.

" Yeah! You should be!" She replied with attitude. You took the time to look down, noticing the mess of grocery bags. Too many grocery bags, you couldn't afford that much food. "Are we a charity? Did they donate us food because they felt bad?"

Your mother only rolled her eyes, "Ha ha funny, come on and help me with the groceries clown... we're having guests over."

You sighed, "oh g r e a t "

"Guests."

There was no thrill in that.

Another hour passed, you had now thrown on some jeans and your favorite shirt.

Your mind wandered to who the guests could be, almost as if you manifested it, you heard knocking at the front door followed by two familiar voices you sworn you've heard before.

You decided to take a little peek when your eyes met with a pair of teal eyes... unfortunately belonging to a specific edge lord. You quickly backed away making the vase behind you drop. In almost slow motion it broke. Uhhhhh you had no time to think so you bolted into your room.

Ok ok no nope jotaro out of all fucking people UGHHHHH ok ok y/n think he can't see you like this ok ok

You shuffled around your closet looking for the most appealing thing you could wear.

Sooooooo,

you grabbed the first thing you saw in your drawer.

You were arguing with yourself unable to understand why you were changing for a guy. Pushing those thoughts aside you wore a V-lined long sleeve shirt, a comfortable fitting skirt, and tights. Running to your vanity, you grabbed the first necklace off your wardrobe. You turned to go out the door when you collided with a body.

"J-Jotaro!" You said startled. You then realized you never heard the door open... had he been there the whole time!!?!? Your face became pink which he took notice off, "HAVENT YOU EVER HEARD OF KNOCKING YOU DAMN BRUT!!! HOW LONG WERE YOU THERE FOR!"

He realized you were just embarrassed and that's why you were acting out. "Yare yare"

Is that really all he says? This made your eyes roll, 'Why won't he ever let that go...the phrase I thought we made a deal it's like a constant reminder that we aren't friends, but were at some point. '

"Your mom asked me to get you now hurry up and stop trying to impress me kid"

"Uh uh kid yeah whatever you say dolphin boy." You crossed your arms and walked out first, the both of you trailing down the short hall. You though wouldn't call it short, the silence and awkwardness made it seemed like an eternity.

Your POV

"Ah there you are y/n!" That's who one of the voices are. I smiled instantly to look at the two people in front of me.

"You remember Holly and Mr Joestar don't you!" Mom seemed super happy to have a friend over again, her and Holly used to be super close...almost like me and-no no no clean thoughts.

They were waiting for you to respond.

Pushing those thoughts behind you, you decided  that this was the perfect moment to make it even between you and Jotaro.

"HOLLY! of course I remember you!! Oh I miss you so much!" You almost gagged at how obnoxious you sounded but it didn't matter, you were happy to see her.

"You are still so pretty how's it going!" You were
smiling genuinely and proud.  Turning to the side you saw Joesph, who was kind of at awe with what just happened.

"If it isn't the old man how's the hand!?" Joesph laughed, "I wish jotaro would be this enthusiastic to see us when he gets home." You look at jotaro thanking Joesph for this set up, "Jotaro how could I forget." Mentally smiling you approach hi. You got close enough to hear, "don't.you.fucking.dare."

That's when you gave him a slight hug and kissed his cheek. You could finally read some part of his emotion the other was covered by his hat. You couldn't tell if the redness from his face was from him being flustered or pissed.

To not cause a scene he gently pushed you aside. You guys had normal table conversation....by you guys everyone except Jotaro. He just listened never giving input. Your mom and holly spoke up, "So y/n" your mom started off, Holly began tapping Jotaro telling him to listen.

Your mom seemed off. She took her napkin placing it on her face and then on her lap, "Y/N you're going to be staying with holly and mr joestar for a while.

You stopped almost choking on your food. Jotaro's attention was finally caught. His head shot up just staring trying to process what he had just heard. "Wh-what why?," You were in total shock and confusion. Once again your mothers nerves were shown, "There's been some... issues with things and until I can get it sorted out it's not safe here."

At the same time you and Jotaro both asked almost in unison,

Safe that's odd why wouldn't it be safe?
Safe why wouldn't it be safe

You two glanced at eachother and looked away. The tension in the room was thick. Joesph took it upon himself to break the ice by laughing.

This is going to be interesting.
