Part 5: Flesh Bud

Jotaro showed you to your room. "Here I suppose you have shit to do so I'll leave you to it." You sighed and looked at Jotaro, "What about kakyoin, will he be ok?"

Jotaro looked to the side and turned to the door, "Don't worry about it."

You rolled your eyes as he left "don't worRy aBoUt It" you mocked. "I can still hear you" he turned away and left you alone.

Finishing your packing, you walked down the hall to the living room. Noises could be heard and the more you approached the room the more you saw. On the floor kakyoin layed on the ground.

"I hate to say it, but there's no way he'll make it." Joesph sounded sincere, "looks around your age Jotaro"  . There was no way you weren't going to interrupt,"LIKE HELL HE ISNT!"

Jotaro was the first to make eye contact with you, "tch, go back to playing dolls leave this to us." Obviously you weren't being included for a reason.

Kakyoin was your friend or atleast an in class distraction. Bonding over art and loneliness was something you found comfort in. Jotaro wouldn't know what that is he voluntarily isolates himself.

Crossing your arms and walking forward you stood your ground. "So emotional." Was all Jotaro could say as he sensed you weren't going to go anywhere.

"He isn't going to die, but do you want to know why your friend would swear alliance to Dio ? Why would he kill you?"

Shock?, anger?, annoyance?, all of the above!?, "How could you claim this!? Kakyoin would never hurt even a fly! He's a kid from our grade who transferred earlier in the year. I've talked to him many times, I think I would know if he wanted to kill anyone let alone Jotaro."

"Perhaps he isn't all that he seems y/n" Joesph began moving the red heads hair backwards. "It appears your friend is not what he seems at all" Avdol pointed at the weird flesh thing protruding from kakyoins head.

"EW WHAT THE HELL IS THAT" you practically screamed.

Jotaro grabbed your shoulder, pushing you behind him ,"What is that it looks like a spider or something" while you were fangirling on what just happened joesph and avdol explained how it was referred to as a "flesh bud."

Avdol continued by saying how the flesh bud was made up of this "Dios" blood cells, then continuing on how he himself has met dio. "I knew when I saw him how truly terrifying he was, how every word he said calmed me."

You crossed your arms, "I might be misunderstanding but doesn't Dio mean, God? What are we talking about here because this seems more serious than someone wanting Jotaro dead."

"Kakyoin is in pretty bad shape but it doesn't mean he's not dead yet" there was anger. How could he threaten the lives of my loved ones so carelessly. Kakyoin being here threatens everything I have in my life.

Seeing y/n jump in front of me as I approached the douche just annoyed me, "KUJO DONT YOU DARE HURT HIM.

You looked to the side holding your arms tighter which felt like a stab to jotaros heart. His eyes shaded and he leaned over to where kakyoin was, he glanced at you then back at the bud. How lowly did you view him?

Joesph stood up, "Jotaro! Don't do that"

"back off old man I can remove it without damaging the brain."

Avdol and Joesph stood up "NO JOJO ITS STILL ALIVE IT WILL MAKE ITS WAY TO YOUR BRAIN YOU CANT."

"SHUT UP AND LET ME DO THIS"

Kakyoins eyes opened "What are yo-" "I wouldn't move if I were you,

"one move and you'll be fried." Carefully Jotaro began going for the flesh bud. It's tentacles wrapping around his arm.

"J-jojo..." your voice had a tone of fear. What was going on. Why are you here. Where's your mom?

The bud launched into Jotaros hand, merging with his veins. Tears started to form on your face.

"Ugh" is all he mumbled. The bud reached his neck, his skin was moving from the inside.

"Got it."

"Don't ever scare me like that you damn brut" you said punching his arm and going in for a hug.

"I can't remember the last time you called me jojo." He stood still not returning the hug.

"Well don't flatter yourself hat hair." Tightening your arms that wrapped around him.

After the moment you two were having Joesph coughed obnoxiously loud. Pointing at the red head who was talking to avdol, you realized the position you were in.

Looking down now breaking eye contact with the floor kakyoin spoke up,"Jotaro, why did you save me?"

Jotaro stared cold, "dont know..I don't have an answer for that"
