The Hotel in Kanazawa was of the same company as the one in Makuhari and because of that everything was very similar.

Sophia didn't even bother unpacking this time since they would only be there for a few days for the shows and would enter the breake after.

The violinist still had no idea where she would go and didn't have any plans either, she would probably have time for that in the next few days.

She woke up the next morning refreshed and ready to see the next venue. The musicians had a rehearsal without the skaters today, one she wasn't looking forward to since she barely played and Shinya was not joining them there. Not that she didn't enjoy speaking with the other musicians, but it just wasn't the same.

The borefest of rehearsal ended up being even longer because of sound problems and she couldn't wait to get out of there.

Unfortunately what was supposed to be a 2-hour rehearsal was already nearing 4 without them barely starting.

'Where are you?' a text by Yuzuru said.

'Rehearsal. Sound is a mess...'

'I thought it would be over by now'

'It should be, but we barely started with all the sound problems'

'Want some company?'

'You're here already? Did you even sleep?'

'A little bit'

'Then get some rest. You have 3 shows coming up'

'I will see you soon'

There was no point in fighting that man and she knew it. From the experience in Makuhari, Sophia knew he liked to meet the staff of every venue before official rehearsals so he was probably already heading there anyway.

About 20 minutes after his last message, Yuzuru texted her again.
'Can you get 5 minutes off your rehearsal?'

'Probably, why?'

'Meet me near the changing rooms, it's quick'

'Give me a few minutes'

The violinist excused herself for a 'small break', no one paying her any attention when she did.

Heading towards the place he asked her, she could hear the sound techs fighting each other about the problem without many solutions.

Sophia spotted him and smiled instantly.

"Hello beautiful" he said once he saw her.

"Yuzuuu"

She ran to him and hugged his body close, enjoying his warmth without caring what people would think if they saw them.
It wasn't a normal reaction for two friends, even if they planned on fooling around a bit.

"I missed you" he whispered.

"It was only two days"

"I still missed you" he said, pulling her tighter to him."I have something for you"

"For me? Yuzu, you don't have to buy me stuff"

"It's just a souvenir from my trip back home." Yuzuru opened the backpack he had on the ground and gave her a box. "You like sweet things, right?"

"Yes... Is that candy?"

"They are traditional Sendai cakes called Hagi-no-Tsuki. They have custard inside"

"I'll be overweight by the end of this trip"

"You will be gorgeous either way"

"Thank you. I will tell you if they are as good as they seem" she said, earning a huge smile in return.

"Are you staying in the same hotel as the skaters?"

"Yes, at least the same as the girls, so probably the rest too"

"Can I see you tonight?" Yuzuru asked hopefully.

She stared into his eyes and smirked "just see?"

"You know what I mean, I did make you a promise"

"There's rehearsal early morning "

"We don't have to do anything... I just want you around"

"Okay, yours or mine?"

"Does anyone else know your room number?"

"No?"

"Then yours, if it's okay by you. I can't seem to have a moment of peace in my room"

"Sure... And you can stay the night if you want."

"You don't mind?"

"Having a cuddle buddy? No, I don't mind"
He grinned, excited for the night.

"As much as I like this, you should go, no?"

Sophia looked at her watch and realized she had been out for almost 15 minutes now.

"Shit" she said and he laughed. "I will text you the room number?"

"Yes, please do" The violinist stared him in the eye and with a grin closed the distance between them, pecking his lips softly. "Soph!"

"Shh... Just to leave you thinking about later"

"You're such a tease... We hadn't done that before"

"Bye bye" she said waving, already leaving his side and going back to rehearsal in far better humor than previously.

The sound problem had just been fixed and they would start rehearsal soon, meaning she was back just in time.

Rehearsal was still a snooze fest as she expected, the pop songs were great to play during the show because she didn't have to focus much and could watch them skating but that meant being bored in every single rehearsal.

The other musicians seemed to avoid speaking with her too, she wasn't sure why or how she could change it but it was almost as if they were afraid of her opinion.

And she tried, the first time it was with one of the bass players, discussing his rig. But the other musician seemed to think a violin player was not worthy of an equipment talk.

Next, she tried the guitar player, but he also didn't seem to take her seriously. Sophia had expected to learn a bit more of gear with this experience but it was proving difficult.

Her only entertainment during the whole thing was when Yuzuru showed up and said hello to everyone, making her smile for a little while.

Once it finished it was already dark outside and she didn't waste any time getting out of there.
Never had she been more thankful to enter a hotel room.

Sophia decided to relax a bit with a shower while waiting for Yuzuru.
At least he would be there to make the day slightly better.
