Three letters, o, m, g, I felt the strange power of a first kiss, with Matthew. Wow, it was awesome too, but Jamie was watching and I felt bad. Matthew and I walked hand in hand towards Jefferson Avenue where we parted and said goodbye. It felt good though, then I sensed an odd feeling, the kind you get when you are being watched, I turned no one was there, maybe I was just paranoid. And there it was again, I just couldn't shake the feeling, I turned once again to see a strange bird, the canary from school, staring at me. I was to curious about it so when it took off I ran following after it. We ran towards Lucy's house until the canary stopped at the old, abandoned barn with the huge willow towering behind me I was beautiful, the bird was staring at me again the deep black eyes sinking deep into me, it felt like it was trying to communicate with me, there is no way Thai is happening I told myself over and over and over again... But it was, and I couldn't do anything but stare wide-eyed. There was a sudden noise, I jerked around thinking it was some wild creature to see Matthew and Jamie.
"We were so worried!" Matthew exclaimed, embracing me.
"Why, I'm thirteen years old, I think I can handle myself." I replied pushing away.
"Well I came by your house to finish the math project , your dad opened the door and said he hadn't seen you. So I came over to Matthew's place to see if I could find you and he said he hadn't seen you since you left each other, then I was worried and so was Matthew so we went out to find you."
"Once again, how did you find me here?"
"Well we figured you might have gone to hang out with Lucy, so we walked in that direction and then we saw you running, chasing something so we followed you." Jamie said sounding like a hero.
"Why were you running any way?" Matthew asked interrogatively.
"Oh, this might sound kind of insane, but I was curious about a bird."
"A bird, what did it look like?" Replied Jamie.
"Oh, it had yellow feathers, deep black eyes that starred right at you."
"Wait, was it a canary?" Jamie asked.
"Yes," I exclaimed, "You saw it too?"
"Yeah." Said Jamie.
"Um, dint mean to spoil the party but is that it right there, that's the bird I saw at school."
"Wait, you saw it too Matthew?" I asked.
"Uh, yeah."
