Ok, I know I'm probably being totally jerky but I think this is basically all Jamie's fault. Yeah, yeah, I know... really mean right, but if he hadn't told the HBI anything about the stupid bird then we wouldn't be here. But point taken we had to get out, so there I was sitting quietly thinking. Well if we could get Jess to find us somehow... but how would we contact her? There was a flaw to every plan I could think of, until I saw something peeking through the one window of the factory, it was Jess, how she found us I have no clue but that is something I could ask later. I did my best to flag her down and I think she saw me, I'm not sure though and eventually Jamie caught the memo and tried to help me get her attention. It was very dark in the factory, it had one window and a huge fan that spun so slowly it's not even funny, but besides that the walls are old, gray wood that is falling apart and splintering, and the floors concrete and completely trashed. There is one entrance which is also the only exit, it is an old sliding wood door painted a darker shade of gray being held in place by two wooden planks so no one could get in or out besides the seven henchmen, all dressed in black coats, sunglasses and fedoras. My mind kept coming up with possible escape plans but all of them involved some sort of ninja moves like in "Mission Impossible" and then I thought of how much easier this would be if I were Ethan Hunt then back to reality where I was plain old me. But I wasn't I'm not just a thirteen year old (almost fourteen) kid who goes to an ordinary school, with an ordinary family and an ordinary life. Nope now I'm a thirteen year old criminal who is being held captive by a secret agency trying to catch a dumb bird that's apparently rare, and I'm one of two kids that know, that can spill everything to the cops but is terrified of doing so for obvious reasons and the best part being that I can't tell anyone not my family, not my friends, no one. And the only other person who knew is Jamie, all my other friends had basically turned on me for hanging out with him, he's the victim, the nerd, yet still the one who got the girl.. How? I have no clue I can't say I still don't have feelings for Jess because I do, I'm not afraid to say it though, Jamie is helpless and has no self defense skills whatsoever I don't know how he has survived this long anyway, perhaps he's just book smart but that's not going to get him anywhere in reality, or right now. Jess doesn't have anyone either, Maggie and her twin don't rarely talk to her much anymore, the guys still like her, but her popularity has diminished because of us. And right now all I can do is think about what everything would be like if none of this had happened, if there was no bird or HBI or anything we were just normal teens, but I opened my eyes back to the real world, and the main officer, Jankins stood right in front of me. I glanced at Jamie and I knew he was terrified, another guard, Browne was on front of him. Jess was gone out of the window, " Who was that, who were you contacting, and if you don't tell me, you will be very sorry." I gulped at the thought.
"Oh that was just Jess!" Jamie said with no worry at all until I looked at him with my "you flipping idiot" face and he regretted it right away, he gave away the name of the only person that could remotely help us away. "Browne go get this Jess character, bring her to us." And surely enough, he did about twenty minutes later Jess was brought into the building, she was completely terrified, just like us. Jankins chuckled, and all I could think was I really hope she told someone about this.
