Mixed emotions, sadness, anger, jealousy.... But why, all because of some stupid jerk. Jess seemed to give me some looks, I don't know what they mean but I'm thinking it might mean sorry, or get lost loser I have a boyfriend, probably the second option. I don't know, I should just leave it alone but it's so hard they walk around every where holding hands gazing into each others eyes, but ever time it feels like a smack in the face and a punch in the gut. It is still bothering me that she keeps looking at me and it's weird, she has a boyfriend, or maybe he has a girlfriend. Wait, does she like Matthew, or does she want to get out of this relationship, could it be possible that she might, just might like me? Nah, I'm going to text like the only friend I actually have, Christopher from my old school. When I grabbed my phone, the first notification said,"Hey Jamie" it was from Jess.
The second text said, "hey, I'm sorry about Matthew, I really don't like him or this stupid relationship, it's awful everyone is looking at me weird and I feel so awkward, ummm txt back when u get this.. Bye."I was shocked, literally shocked, the fact that she had the guts to tell me, but why me? I was confused, but my question would be answered the next day. Matthew and Jess avoided each other the entire day, Matthew shot me dirty looks, I replied with a confused face, until I got the courage to ask him.
"Hey, Matthew what's with you and Jess, and why are you giving me dirty looks, it's really bothering me."
"Dude, Jess likes you, ok no need to rub it in my face she texted me last night, didn't she text you too?"
"Uh, no, wait, what? No way, Jess doesn't like me your crazy."
"Oh you sure, look at the text she sent me las night."
"Hey Matthew, I feel really awkward being with you, I'm breaking up with you, sorry about the text dump, no one likes that... Oh yeah let's be friends, I really like you but our relationship just didn't work, I like Jamie, it's nothing personal, well I guess it is, I love you... As a friend. Face time me please I want to explain it face to face."
Shocked, confused, wait what just happened, I don't believe it. And there Matthew was looking at me. Then I felt something, someone bump my shoulder, it was the new girl, Maggie. And Matthew was looking at her like he had seen heaven itself.
