-Aurora's POV-

I couldn't sleep, what a surprise. It might have had to do with the feeling of being stalked all throughout the mission and the possibility that same stalker might have followed me to my temporary home, but that can't possibly be it.

I've decided to get out of bed and go see If Steve was up to keep me company, maybe even spar with him and release some stress while I'm at it. I walked out, into the hall, and down the elevator, not seeing the old man anywhere. "Maybe he could be in the kitchen making breakfast?" I thought to myself as I wandered around the empty halls of the tower.

When I arrived in the kitchen, I had found that yet again, no one was there. "Might as well take a banana while I'm here." I grab a banana on the way out of the kitchen and head to the training room.

Of course, when I get there, the training room is also empty. "Where is he? Is he even awake yet?" Then I remembered we have a literal robot who knows the whereabouts of everyone in this building.

"JARVIS, is Steve up yet?" I ask.

"Yes, he went out on his morning run." He informed me.

"Meh, I'll just train by myself." I began to practice my knife throwing skills and punched the punching bag for a little while to warm up.

Suddenly, I felt that presence again. The one that feels like someone is staring right at you, like eyes burning holes into the back of your head. I look at the reflection of the weights that I was holding, but still, I don't see anyone.

Just to be safe, I grab my throwing knives and prepare myself to throw them at anything in the room that moves in the slightest bit. I stay still with my back against the wall so nobody could sneak up from behind while positioning myself to throw the knife.

The door to the training room suddenly opened, causing me to chuck one of the knives at the person coming through the door. Luckily, I missed and hit the door frame because the person who entered the room, just so happened to be Steve.

"Woah, you okay Barton?" He asks me,     "Yeah... Do you ever get that feeling that someone is watching you but when you turn around no one is there?" I ask him while walking towards him.

"Sometimes. I usually assume it's a fan who is trying to get a picture of me."

"Ah, okay. Hey, are you up for a short match?" I ask him.

    "Sure thing kid."

We spar a couple of rounds; he wins the first one but that was just me warming up. The second and third time we spared he was forced to step up his game, I won both of those by pinning him to the floor and putting him into a chock hold.

"Okay, I need to get to school. Thanks for sparring Cap! Make sure to work on protecting your legs, you aren't always going to have your big metal dinner plate with you at all times." I grab my throwing knives and leave the room.

The feeling I had of someone watching me went away as soon as Steve entered the room, almost as if his presence scared the stalker away. Unfortunately, as soon as I stepped foot into the halls, I felt it again.

"It's probably nothing." I think to myself as I made my way up to my room and got ready for the day.

~*~*~*~*~*~

When I arrived at school, Peter, Ned, and I all met by the flagpole before school started. We talked for a while until I saw Flash trying to be sneaky and avoid me, "Haha can't avoid me that easily Flash."

"Hey Flash! Why the change of attitude?" I tease.

Instead of answering, he quickly runs inside the school. I look over to Peter who was glaring at me, "What? He was asking for it." I put my hands up in surrender.

"Aurora, remember our deal." Peter crosses his arms as he speaks, I roll my eyes in defiance. "Lets get to class."

~*~*~*~*~*~

Me and Peter sat in class bored out of our minds, "too bad I can't bring out my knife and flip it." I thought to myself. "Wait, if I was able to look into Tony's mind, I wonder if I could communicate through peoples minds."

I look at Peter and focus on trying to talk to him, I think of a simple sentence, "Hey Peter, I see you."

Nothing. I gave up after a couple more tries and tried to focus on the assignment that was given. Then I feel it; The presence of someone staring at me. The feeling wasn't present through out the whole school day, so why now?

I look in the reflection of my laptop that was set up in front of me to see if anyone is staring at me from behind, I didn't see anyone staring. I now feel the presence behind me but when I look in the reflection of the laptop again, no one is there. "You know what, I'm gonna do it."

I start writing a note to Peter to go to the bathroom and get his suit on. Hopefully he does what it says without question because I'm gonna cause a big scene. I'm risking it all hoping that the presence that I feel behind me is Loki.

I stuff the note into a little tiny capsule that Natasha gave me incase something like this were to happened and I needed to talk to Peter in school, without alerting the teacher.

I throw it to Peter and he catches it before it hit his desk. He looks down, opens the capsule, and quickly hides it. He looks down to read it then turns to me and nods before asking the teacher if he could use the restroom.

Once the plan was in affect, I make it look like I was fixing my sock, but I was actually grabbing my hidden throwing knife. I check the laptop reflection to make sure that no student was in the way of my knife when I throw it. When I saw nobody was, I took my chance.

Hey Y'all! I know its been a while since I have written on here. I had been taking semester finals for school and its been taking up a lot of my time to write. I'll hopefully update sooner, but till then; Happy Holidays. -C0ffee_Stain
