Chapter 12 (I drew that by the way :))

~Aurora's POV~

I cannot believe what just happened; I had just gotten kidnapped by the God of mischief and lies, who knows of my past, and wants to kill me. 'Meh, can't get any worse, can it?'

He drags me through endless hallways of the spaceship until we got to a hall that displayed couple of brightly lit white rooms with an open wall on each side. Loki walks me to the first one and pushes me inside, I quickly turn around to make an attempt at charging at him. Key word; attempt.

As soon as I was about to step out of the room, an orange barrier was put up, I brace myself as I run into it, burning my fist that used to braced myself. I shout in pain as I quickly pull my fist back.

Loki laughs at my weak attempt. Why glaring at him I ask, "Why? Out of all people that you could have chosen, why me?" Once again putting on a serious facade.

"You have special abilities. Plus, you are important to them." He carelessly answers, while holding his hands behind his back, and pacing just as he once did inside the cell at Stark Tower.

"Important to who?" I push for more information.

"What do they call themselves? Ah yes, that's right, Earth's mightiest heroes."

I stare down at the floor in thought, thinking about what I should say next to not aggravate him but still get something out of this conversation. 'Thank you Nat for sharing your interrogation skills with me.'

"But why are they going to miss me? They only met me a couple of days ago. There is no way they could get attached to me that easily."

"Actually, they have always known you. Ever since the "incident" involving you and Barton, SHEILD had started to keep an eye on you." 'I knew It, they never trusted me in the first place.'

"No, that cant be." I start to make myself cry to make it look like I was sad, sure I was upset about the situation but that doesn't mean I should let him know how it truly affected me.

"Oh yes, and I'm going to use that against them."

"So you're going to hold me hostage until they hand over the world? You are hilarious, I can't believe that you think that I'm worth the world to them. Heck, I'm not even related to any of them! What makes you think that you'll succeed in this?" 'Well, so much for trying to not make him mad.'

"You may not be as important to the Avengers as you might think, but you do mean something to the Spiderling. What's his name again? That's right, Peter Parker."

I start to clench my fists in anger, not Peter

"You WILL not lay a finger on him!" I yell filled with rage.

Loki smirks, "Oh, I already have." He says as he turns and walks out of the cell room. I slump down to the floor in defeat, 'What have I done.'

~Peter's POV~

"Aurora? Are you okay?" I speak into the mic.

"Can you hear me? Aurora?" 'Something is wrong.'

I checked the cameras before rushing out of the observing room when I noticed that the cameras watching Loki cut out. I contact the rest of the team, letting them know that I can no longer see Aurora before rushing to the holding room. But it was too late.

After Mr. Barton heard the news about Aurora, he started shouting a long list of curses that was followed by Mr. Steve shouting at him to watch his language due to there being a kids on the other line... 'I'm not that little', I huff

I arrived at the holding room, I quickly open the door and scan the room. It was empty, no Loki, no Aurora, No one. "Umm, guys. Aurora and Loki aren't in the room."

"WHAT?!?!?!" Mr. Barton exclaims followed by even more curse words.

Where could they be? Okay come on Peter, where are the possible exits in the tower? "Karen, locate all possible exits." My mask shows a display of all the exits and entrances inside the tower, the closest one to me is the roof.

I take off towards the stairs, climbing all the way to the top. When I arrived I see Mr. Barton lowering his black bow with an un-fired arrow, and a defeated look plastered across his face. I look in front of him to see am alien space ship fly off, too far for me to swing onto. 'No, no, no! Aurora!'

I drop to my knees and all my thoughts convert into grief. 'This is all my fault, if I was there when Loki took Aurora I could have stopped him. I could have saved her. Now she is taken captive by Loki and he is probably torturing her for taking him in.'

Mr. Barton comes up to me and puts a reassuring hand on my shoulder, "We'll get her back kid, she's tough." I nod in response and stand from the ground, "Let's start looking then." I say as we walk towards the lab to start tracking down Loki.

~*~*~*~*~*~

The team and I had spent hours trying to find footage of a flying spaceship in the city or even just the slightest bit of evidence that she is nearby, but nothing came up. No trace of magic, No sight of him on camera, and no destruction.

Everyone was about to start wrapping up and go to sleep until a green mist of sparkling green magic appears out in front of us. The magic clears, showing a projection of Loki standing in a dark room, hopefully by himself.

"Hello Avengers!" He says with a mischievous smirk, "I'd thought you'd be up at this time."

"BROTHER! WHERE IS LADY AURORA?" Thor yelled, stepping closer to the magic projection.

"Oh, she's just fine. I just had a lovely talk with her actually. We shared a bit about her past and she was quite surprised with what information I had given her."

"Don't her dare touch her! If you lay a finger on her I will promise that one of my arrows will go straight through your head." Mr. Barton threatened from behind me.

Loki laughed, "I wouldn't do such a thing Agent Barton. Remember I have your 'Niece' so watch what you say. I could easily make her life a living nightmare while she takes up residency with me." Mr. Barton clenched his fists at his sides but doesn't say anything.

"Now that I have your attention, I'd like to have a talk. Ever since my attempt at taking over the world, I've been thinking about what I did wrong, turns out, it was that I didn't take the Avengers out first. So, to solve that problem, I'd like to strike a bargain. I'll give you your precious Aurora Barton, or should I say Dalton, in exchange for the freedom to do whatever I wish to your pathetic planet." 'Why did he say Dalton?'

"Yes, I know, such a big trade. How about this, I'll give you one week to figure out what you are going to do, even though the answer is pretty clear already."

"You're not going to get away with this Loki." Mr. Steve says.

"Oh, but I am Rogers. Remember, I have your sweet Aurora with me so don't try anything. Also, keep our talk in mind Mr. Parker, it may help with your decision." With that, the green mist disappears, leaving the team and I speechless.

Good afternoon y'all! I hope you guys are enjoying your weekend, I had just found out I exempted all my finals so I'm excited about that! Hope you enjoyed the chapter. ~C0ffee_Stain
