Friends with the Spider

*Chapter 8*

Chapter 8

-Aurora's POV-

    I quickly turn in my chair and throw the knife directly where I felt the presence. A man with green and black robes with golden armor appears out of nowhere and moves out of the way to avoid getting hit.

    *Thunk*

    The blade sticks to the wall leaving the class screaming in fear and shock. I quickly stand from my seat and take a defensive stance. Not taking my eyes off the person who appeared. Who is this- Loki.

    "WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!?!?!" The teacher shouts.

    Suddenly, Peter enters the room, dressed in his Spiderman suit, knocks Loki into the wall and webs him there. "Miss, you need to evacuate the building immediately. We've got this covered." Peter tells the teacher, she nods and starts directing students out of the room.

    "I don't think so." Loki says, flicking his wrist, and closing the door; locking it from the outside.

    He then rips through webs and sends a wave of energy in all directions, knocking everything down, even pushing people away. When Students were pushed back towards the walls of the classroom, Peter and I went with. He stalks toward me and Pete. We both get up off of the ground and take a defensive stance while walking backwards to defend our classmates if needed.

    "So, you two were the ones sent to capture me." He stops in front of me, looking me up and down. "You must be Aurora Barton. I must say, I am impressed that you could sense me near. Unfortunately, when I had control over your uncle he told me all about you and your little incident with your parents; Truly sorry that had happen."

    My eyes widen and my form stiffens, He knows.

    Loki then walks in front of Peter and also looks at him. "Ah yes, The Spider-man. I've heard great things about you, especially from your, how should I put it, father figure Tony Stark. He talks a lot about you Pe-"

    Before Loki could finish his sentence I threw another knife at him, and as expected, he caught it. Luckily, while he was distracted with catching the knife, I ran and attacked him with Peter following in pursuit. I landed the first punch to Loki's ribs.

    He stumbled back before vanishing the knife in a cloud of green smoke, quickly recovering his stance. He blocked a lot of the punches and kicks I was throwing at him, which surprised me with how well trained in combat he was, but I still got a couple of hits in.

    "Spidey... *Punch* Work... *Duck* Door..." I struggle to say as I continue fighting with Loki. He seemed to understand, so he ran to the door and started working on the lock.

    Loki started landing more hits on me as I grew tired while Peter worked on the lock to get it open and evacuate the students. Our classmates sat quietly in the corner, some watched the fight in amusement and fear, while others curled up into a ball and cried.

    It looked like Loki was about to go in for another punch to my ribs, so I moved my stance to counter the attack. Unfortunately, I was wrong and he swept my legs out from under me. This causing me to land on my back, whipping my head down on the floor, making me go dizzy and black dots swarm my vision.

    He quickly walked up to me, grabbed me by my neck, making me stand up to his height. He then turns me around before pushing my back up against his chest. Loki then makes the dagger I threw at him earlier appear in his hand, pressing against my neck.

    Loki turn turns us around so that we are now facing the class and Peter, who Is almost done picking the lock of the door. I continue to struggle against the god, trying to buy Peter more time, but Loki presses the blade harder against my neck, causing me to wince as I feel the blade cut through a layer of skin.

     Loki clears his throat getting Peter's attention. "Now that I have your attention Man of spiders, i need something from you. I-"

    "you are not getting anything Loki. In-fact, you are coming with us." I say.

I stomp of his foot, making his stance falter, allowing me to slip out from underneath his grip and grab the knife that was lodged in the wall. Peter webs the God to the wall again but with more webbing this time. Once Loki was for sure stuck, I walk over to him and put the blade against his neck.

    "Now that I have your attention, you are coming with us Loki."

    "I like the way my name rolls off your tongue darling." Loki says then gives a mischievous grin. I roll my eyes before I walk over to Peter and take the lock picking tools from him.

    "Watch him, I'll pick the lock." I say as I make my over to the door.

    "Why did he call you Aurora Barton? And we know you know Spider-man, but do you know the rest of the Avengers?" Flash asks.

    "That's classified Flash." I say as take a look at the lock on the door. "This doesn't look too hard to pick" I think to myself.

    I take out two bobby pins, putting one in the lock and bending it, forming it into an "L" shape. I take the other bobby pin and bend it open so it's just a straight metal wire. I put the "L" shaped bobby pin in at the part of the lock where the shaft of the key is supposed to go and turn it slightly so that it is applying pressure to the pins inside. I then take the end of the other bobby pin and bend it so that it is bent slightly at the end, I then stick it in and begin to push the tumblers inside up.

    As I press the pins up, they make a tiny click. I repeat this until each pin is up until the "L" shaped bobby pin is able to turn more unlocking the door. I swing the door open and help the teacher direct the kids out of the school. I then walk back into the classroom to where Peter and Loki are.

    Loki is still in the same position and Peter is leaning on a desk watching him. I walk over to Peter while keeping my eyes trained on Loki, making sure he doesn't try to escape the bonds, again.

    "Let's bring him to the Tower, Thor will be happy to see his little brother again." I say

Peter then unsticks Loki from the wall and makes more webs to wrap around the god until he looks like he's wrapped in a webbed burrito. I grab Loki by the shoulder and escorted him out of the building with Peter.

    "You know you could just ask me to follow you and I would obey darling." Loki says looking down at me and smirking.

    "Webs, could you shut him up please?" I ask Pete

    "Yeah." He shoots a web and it sticks to Loki's mouth preventing him from speaking. Now that I think about it, It almost looks like a muzzle.

    "Thanks"

    All of a Sudden, I feel a sharp pain In my head. I drop my hold on Loki and hold my head, it feels like someone is drilling a screw in my head. Thankfully it didn't last long.

    "OUCH! LOKI!" I shout looking over at Loki. He looks at me with in curiosity but I just glare and continue our journey back to Stark Tower.
