~Aurora's POV~

I walk to the roof of the tower and sit down on the railing, my legs dangle above the busy city below. 'What did I sign up for?' I think to myself as I admire the bustling vehicles below. I take the time to enjoy the soothing sounds of the city beneath me as I gather my thoughts.

While taking a couple deep breaths, I listen to the surrounding honks of passing cars, the loud air brake sounds from buses, and the sound of strong engines from the planes and jets that soaring above.

I had been pulled out of my relaxed state when the ringtone of my phone blared. I picked up my phone that lay beside me to see that Peter texted me; "Hey, could you please pick up a couple of books for Loki?"

I release a sigh before replying. "Yes, I'll bring some on my way back." Once the text was sent, I went back to the peaceful ambiance that the city gave off around me.

"I'm back!" I walk into the cell room while balancing a couple of books in my arms for Loki, it sets my mind at ease to see that Peter is still alive and Loki is still in his cell.

Loki looks like the type of guy who would enjoy poetry and a bit of Earth's history, so I got him some Shakespeare and another book called, "Where the sidewalk ends" by Shel Silverstein to satisfy the poetry piece but also my world history textbook so he can do my studying for me. That gives me the perfect excuse as to why I can't do any of my work for that class; worst case scenario I just ask the canned green bean to help me out. He practically lived through it all, right?

Shortly after I reached the door to the cell, I realized I missed a valuable part of this whole exchange. I didn't account for how I'm going to give the books to him. 'Meh, I'll figure it out.'

"Hey." Peter lazily replies, slouching in a chair and pouting while watching me approach Loki's cell. 'he's not as energetic as usual. Something Is wrong.' I observe before proceeding with caution.

I mask my emotions and look over at Loki. While glaring at him, I lay the stack of books on one of the tables near the cell, 'I need to figure out what is going on before giving him the books. If anything goes wrong through this exchange, it could mean the end for my career and for all I know, it could also be the end to Earth's safety.' I hear a chuckle resonate from Loki before I turn to Peter.

"Peter, we need to sync the coms. The team reported there being a bit interference." I guided him out the room and stopped outside near the doorway, signaling the guards standing outside to go in and watch Loki.

"You okay? What happened while I was gone?" Peter fidgeted with his fingers before answering. "Nothing"

I looked at him, not believing him one bit; I wasn't trained by Natasha just to let my skills go to waste.

I was about to reply, but before I could my vision tunneled, and I was lost in a trance-like state.

"But I could have harmed them! I lost control!" I heard Bruce say.

I look around to see that I was in the cell room where Peter was in when I was away on my break.

"Oh, but it is his fault." Loki speaks up from behind Peter, Pete's back was turned towards the god as he played with the control panel, curious as to see what everything did.

"What are you talking about?" Peter questions, temporarily stopping his tampering to turn to Loki. The god was standing up and had his arms folded behind his back.

"He lost control, he turned into the Hulk and could have killed everyone inside. He should have controlled it better." I glower in realization. 'Loki did this.'
