Chapter 10

-Aurora's POV-

After listening to Loki threaten my life in front of Peter, I was furious. No one threatens my partners, especially when they're my friends. As soon as Peter entered the debriefing room, I stormed out and headed down to the cell.

When I walked in Loki was sitting down on the silver metal bench inside. His gaze was settled on the ceiling of his cell like he didn't just threaten a kid. I unlock his cell and march inside.

When he noticed my presence, he sat up. When taking note of my aggression, his face held an amused smirk like he was watching his favorite past time show, eager to find out what will happen next.

-Steve's POV-

The sound of a single slap resonated throughout the speaker system. I quickly turned to the rest of the group inside the room, and they all had the same shocked face.

"Did she just-"

"Slap him? Yes Capsicle, she did." Tony cut me off, "She did what I had dreamed of doing for ages and executed it perfectly." I could tell he was proud of her and was a little envious that she got to do it before him.

-Aurora's POV-

As soon as I followed through with the slap, Loki's head jerked to the side. I took the chance to grab him by the collar of his Asgardian robes and bring him close to my face before whispering to him, "No one, and I mean no one threatens my friends."

He chuckles at my comment, making me shove him backwards in anger.

"What are you doing here Loki, and I don't have time to play your games so give us all a break and tell us what we want." demand, crossing my arms in a nonchalant way.

"Well darling, I want to rule again. It was so much fun ruling Asgard when Thor was banished down here." He stands from his spot, I step back to give myself room to defend myself if anything were to happen, "and what better than getting Earth's greatest heroes to surrender to me"

"Ha! They will never surrender to you" Loki was now standing in front of me, now smirking, "We'll see."

Suddenly Stark Tower starts to shake, causing me to nearly fall to the floor. I quickly grab my knife out of the side of my shoe and take a defensive stance. "What did you do?" I say as I slowly back away towards the door of the cell, not once taking my eyes off the Asgardian.

Loki gives an evil chuckle, "I'm simply just following through with my plan darling."

Suddenly, Natasha's voice shouts through the speakers of the building, "WE HAVE A CODE GREEN EVERYONE EVACUATE THE BUILDING!!!" Great, just what I need.

I left the cell and locked it up before walking over to the control panel of the room to ask what I should do with Loki, but I received no reply. Yay, I am going to have to remove the god of mischief out of his cell for evacuation.

I sigh before turning around and facing the lousy excuse of a god.

"What's wrong darling? Do you have to escort me out of the building because of a certain green emergency?" Loki asks as he walks closer to the cell door.

Luckily before I could retort, my uncle's voice came onto the coms.

"Keep him in the cell, I'll send Peter down soon to help you with Loki but for now don't talk to him." Welp too late for the talking part.

"Got it!" I'm lucky to have figured out any of the buttons on this thing, there were many other weird controls, I am glad I got it on the first push of the button.
