JOHN MCHALE. When the sun hit the covered windows of the living room, we all woke up with the sound of Folk music as well as the smell of fresh pancakes made by Alex, who clearly enjoyed his time in his kitchen. We sat and talked for a few minutes about all sorts of things, including the Red Flower. It was funny to see that Alex knew them and even told us a story that one time they even followed him while he was with Lin. Mike got a little bit mad about that as he asked why Lin couldn't remember that from the day in the pier, but Lin had nothing to say besides that he did not think about that faction on the night of the pier and did not put two and two together.

Jennifer and her waist were still hurt, and that became visible when she could not even sit properly without shouting in pain. Alex went over his closet for meds but there was nothing that would seem to help her. I tried talking with Jennifer about seeing a doctor, but she kept denying that plan, she even said that would slow everybody down, and then Lin came forward with what he truly felt about the situation.

He wanted to take Jennifer to a clinic that Alex said there was in the town, but that would mean that later at night, which was when we were planning to leave for Seattle, they would have to stay. Mike felt a bit confused with the idea and I didn't blame him. We were all so precise on what we had to do to get to Doctor Hera, but it seemed like things were starting to drift apart from the original plan. I, for once, agreed with Lin's idea. It would mean more danger to Mike and I in Seattle, but at least Jennifer would get better and not have any more pain.

"I don't wanna do this!" Jennifer complained.

"C'mon! Your hip isn't getting any better! It's better to treat now while you can!" Lin then fought back.

"What about them?" She pointed at Mike and I "They're going to fight Hera and, probably, Big J alone?"

"And what would you do huh? You can't even sit right!"

"Let's take a breath everybody" Alex got in the middle of the argument.

"It's not fair-" Jennifer cried "-We've been through hell. And now because of me you guys will have to go alone?"

"You're right. It's not fair" Mike held her hands "But-I can't lose anyone else. So can you do this for me? Please?"

Jennifer was clearly frustrated with the idea of being left behind, but as she looked deeply into Mike's eyes, she sedated and decided to agree with the plan. She wasn't happy with it, but she did agree with what Mike said and even thought about. There was a risk she would be taking if she went with us, not only could she get into trouble, but she could've gotten more hurt than she already was, and none of us wanted that for her.

Lin prepared the truck once again, he complained about the cold for a while but then eventually got along with it just fine, he even attempted to make a snowman outside while Jennifer was getting ready to leave. Alex made everybody promise that we would stay for his Christmas dinner that night, because we weren't aware of it for a while but, it was Christmas day. Once Jennifer was inside the car, I went by and hugged her and told her to stay safe. We knew we would see each other later that night, but something was telling me that I had to enjoy that moment with her. I also hugged Lin and told him to be smart once they would reach the emergency room, he told me things would go really easy with his powers, but I still wanted to advise him on a couple things. I closed the door of the driver's seat for Lin and waited for Mike to say his words to his friend.

"Don't get caught by the cops okay?" Mike said worriedly.

"You're just saying that because you don't want your ass to get caught!" She laughed.
