We arrived at the mall.
"you ready ?" My mom asked smiling.
"Yeah" I said giving her a big smile.
We then got off the car and went to the food court.
We saw them and instantly me and Karla hugged eachother tight.
We pulled away and I saw a tear on her face. I laughed.
"Don't laugh !" She hitting me on the shoulder and wiping of her tear.
"Ive missed you !" I said giving her another hug.
"Me too !" She said hugging tighter.
Then I saw Rachael, Karla's mom . She was like my 2nd mother.
She smiled at me and opened her arms.
I hugged her and said "i missed you mom!"
I called her mom since I can remember.
"Me too pretty eyes" She said letting go of the hug.
"Well we will leave you two girls so you guys can catch up . If you guys are ready to leave or need anything call us" my mom said
"We sure will." Karla says smiling .
We decide to go get Starbucks first.
"One Medium Pas-" i said getting interrupted by Karla.
"Passionate tea... Sweetened" she continued then gave me a smile.
I laughed and smiled back.
We finished ordering. And walked around the mall.
"I heard what happened.. " she said giving me a frown.
"Yeah ." I said looking down at the ground.
"Hey , there all in a better place looking down at you and your mom cheering you up. Don't be afraid to start over Kate" She says giving me a hug.
"Thanks Karlz" I say giving her a little smile.
Me and my mom stayed home cooking for my dad and older sister who was 19 and younger sister who was 12 . They went to the bank to get some money for our trip to Hawaii. the hospital called us and told us they got in a car accident . They died 2 hours later at the hospital . My mom decided we should start new so we moved here.
"Are you exited to start school" karla says looking exited .
"To be honest I don't care 😂 " I respond. we both laughed.
"Typical Kate" Karla says laughing.
We finished our shopping & went over to Karla's house. My mom said I could sleep over and just wear something I bought today .
I showered and Karla let me borrow one of her tank tops and some shorts for sleeping. We then fell asleep after talking for hours.
