Never in a million years would I think I'd be spending Christmas Eve with the Weasleys.

Of course, at first, I was hesitant, but I honestly couldn't say no to Daisy. Not when I actually did feel sad that I'd be alone for Christmas.

And especially not after this morning when she was perfectly curled into the side of my body, her red hair spiraled against me as if I was her personal pillow and her soft, whiny five more minutes of cuddles turned into us doing things that should have required a silencing spell.

After we both took separate showers, she got ready and went out of the bathroom with her hair

She was wearing a marooned colored homemade jumper that was oversized enough to wear tights under with a new pair of boots that I had gotten her a few days ago.

"Do I look okay? These are our Christmas sweaters," she started her usual self-deprecating ramble that I hated. "But, I don't know if it looks okay.I feel kinda... stressy, and my hair wouldn't curl correctly. I don't know.."

"You look beautiful," I smiled. "And your hair looks great. No need to be stressed."

She flashed me a small, shy smile and immediately dropped it when she turned around. This wasn't the same Daisy who was happy all week with me. Perhaps, she was still upset with me for leaving her after we had sex, or perhaps she was stressed about me going to the Burrow today.

In hindsight, it was a terrible idea, but we had nothing to hide. I loved her; she was my girlfriend, and we should be able to spend Christmas Eve together.

But that didn't stop me from noticing her pattern of anxiousness. "Everything alright?"

She huffed timidly and sighed, rummaging through the bag she was bringing and then reaching for her wand. "Yes. Everything is alright. It's fine. I didn't take my medicine yet, and I forgot yesterday."
