The pair of force-wielders were awoken by the sound of a bird above them. Ahsoka was first to wake, and saw that the bird was actually none other than Morai, the physical embodiment of the Daughter, who accompanied the Togruta everywhere she went.

"Oh, Morai." Ahsoka sighed, rubbing her eyes with a yawn. "I'm going to need your help today, that's for sure." She giggled at the bird as it came to rest on her arm. Nathan heard Ahsoka talking and began to stirr.
"Nath." Ahsoka whispered.
"Huh?" He said, turning to face the Togruta.
"Morning." She smiled, as Morai cried out again.
"Good morning, 'Soka. What's the plan?"
"We will leave for Sundari for this evening, and try to catch them offguard, wherever they are."
"Sounds good to me. We don't have any food, do we?" Nathan said, realising this for the first time.
Ahsoka's stomach growled loudly, and she put a hand over it to try and quieten the noise.
"No, we don't." She said sheepishly.
"Wait here." Nathan sat up, and began to throw on his Jedi robes, before making his way to the entrance of the hut.
"Where are you going?" The Togruta asked.
"To find you some food."
"Nathan, you don't ne-"

Before she could even finish her sentence, Nathan had left, lightsaber attached to his belt.

Ahsoka rolled her eyes and smiled, secretly thankful that he was going to get food. She turned her attention back to Morai, who was perched upon a chair.

Nathan had heard some wildlife during the night, as he tried to sleep. He knew there were creatures around, something that he could make her for breakfast. Ahsoka wasn't a fussy eater, no Togruta ever was. It was a known fact that her species tend to hunt from an early age, so this wasn't anything new to Ahsoka.

Nathan stumbled across a pair of deer-looking creatures which he couldn't quite put a name on, and with a wave of his hand, used the Force to drain their consciousness, leaving them to faint onto the wet grassy floor. Nathan stood over them, and drew his lightsaber.

Ahsoka heard the sizzling noise of Nathan's lightsaber, and winced, knowing what Nathan was doing. She took a seat on one of the chairs, crossing her legs and waiting patiently.

"That was quick." She spoke, as Nathan came back through the entrance, holding what seemed to be the remains of wildlife from nearby.

Ahsoka got up, and ignited her two sabers, scraping them together and using the friction to create a small fire for them to cook it on. Nathan laid the bodies on top of it. It wasn't exactly perfect, but it would have to do.

"You know what you're doing, don't you?" Ahsoka remarked, impressed. She hadn't seen Nathan on many missions before.
"Working with Anakin teaches you a lot quicker than normal." Nathan shrugged.
"I know." Ahsoka said glumly, looking down at her feet.
The pair sat in silence, with the only noise coming from the food before them as it sizzled upon the fire. Nathan got up and served it, while Ahsoka tended to Morai, who was a little restless.
"There we go." Nathan said quietly, passing Ahsoka a plank of dried wood, with the food upon it. "Not exactly the restaurants of Coruscant, but it'll have to do." He chuckled to himself.
"Thank you, Nathan." Ahsoka said, smiling and looking up at the Jedi. Their eyes locked, with all sorts of emotions flowing through each other's sights. Nathan leant down and kissed her forehead.

The two began to eat, remembering how important their task was today. Maul and Savage wouldn't have fled Mandalore, would they? They hoped not, because they had heard nothing from Bo and the others, so who would be in charge of the Mandalorians now?

"Here." Nathan got up and passed his "plate" to Ahsoka, who had already nearly finished her food.
"You're not hungry?" Ahsoka asked, eyeing up the plate.
"No."
Ahsoka glanced at him, before taking the plate and resting it on her lap. She hadn't eaten in a day or two. She wolfed down the last parts of Nathan's food, and sat back, satisfied.
"So," Ahsoka said, closing her eyes. "When do we leave?"
