Chapter 10 Amortentia

 Alondra woke up at 5:30 a.m. Usually classes start at nine but Alondra had a reason why she woke up at that time, For she had a letter saying to wake up before class. She picked up the letter that was on her shelf that was hidden under her stuffed bunny.

Wake up at 6.00 a.m Don't be late and Don't make me wait

Alondra knew it was her father who wrote the letter because she recognized the handwriting and the crossed out words she silently got her stuff and checked on Luna. Alondra took out a small note saying she left a little early to study before class. Alondra placed down the note on Luna's shelf and she notice the blanket was not on Luna probability from sleepwalking "Oh Luna vas a coger un resfriado si tu manta no te mantiene caliente (Oh Luna you're gonna catch a cold if your blanket is not keeping your warm)" Alondra whispered as she wrapped the blanket on Luna trying to make sure she's covered. Alondra started to walk down the grand hall looking around making sure she's going the right direction when she saw a door that leads to the potions room. She walked a little faster when she reached the door. She opened it unaware that the Professor was at the other side of the door. Alondra accidentally bumped into him making them both fall on the floor "Mierda lo siento padre! (Shit I'm sorry father!)" Alondra said holding out her hand for Snape to take but of course he didn't. Snape got up and dusted himself off, for the floor was dirty "I can get up myself and what did I tell you about saying that word on school grounds" Snape said sounding aggressive but still half awake and annoyed "I'm sorry professor Snape" Alondra said with sadness in her voice for she did not like to pretend her fathers 'perfect' reputation would be ruined if anyone found out she was his daughter. Alondra's been hiding the secret that professor Snape was her father since she came to Hogwarts and made the promise to Snape. Alondra dusted her shoulders and faced Snape "Why did you want to meet me here professor?" Alondra asked a question "The reason I want you to be here is that I want to know what was that poor performance that you pulled yesterday" Snape said look at Alondra with a serious face that other wizards call the 'Snape face' "It was nothing father something just got in my head but don't worry it's ok now" Alondra said realizing what she said and immediately shut her mouth "Alondra what did I just say!? Ugh why do I even bloody bother what do you mean something got in your head what happened yesterday?" Snape said trying not to sound worried "Your a professor why would you even care it's not like your my father" Alondra said with a cold tone like Snape "Because I'm your guardian and as your guardian I must make sure your ok at all cost" Snape said looking at Alondra making sure she wasn't hurt from the game "I was just thinking of inviting you to the quidditch party since Ravenclaw won the game" Alondra said looking away from Snape "Like I would come anyways don't you know I'm busy doing professor stuff so don't lie to yourself thinking I'm gonna go" Snape said a uninvolved and unconcerned tone "Of course your busy..you always never give me the amount of attention I need you just say I'm weak or don't even importa una mierda (give a shit)" Alondra voiced in frustration saying almost everything she always wanted to say but hiding most of her depression feelings "One afternoon in first year Harper tried to hug me when I was upset about something you said to me about my mother! I thought she was going to hurt me. I almost used a spell that was close to the killing cures. If I used that I would have been sent to Azkaban! You know what I should have used it because if I went to Azkaban you would not have to worry about me. Like you would care if I got sentenced you clearly never cared or wanted me!" Alondra hoped her father would see her anger and frustration of the venom come out her voice. Almost crying, Alondra rolled her eyes back so she could hold back the tears. She didn't want to seem weak again "Don't roll your eyes at me I am your father" Snape said trying to show some interest in Alondra's emotions "Oh so now you decide to be my father where were you my entire life up to now? Where were you when I needed you? Oh that's right you were off not caring, probably drinking fire whisky at the pub or venting in that secret notebook of yours so you won't cry and call yourself weak and label yourself as a hypocrite" Alondra yelled with fire coming out of her voice "Now's not the time to get all emotional, tear up your making yourself look-" "What weak I know that's why I'm rolling my eyes so I won't be weak" Alondra said trying to hold back her voice and anger "Get to your seat right now it's time for class and all the students are coming we'll talk about this later" Snape told Alondra bloodless "Fine. As if you would commit to that anyway" Alondra said, walking away to take her seat knowing she would not talk about this conversation with her father ever again. He tends to avoid the past or rehashes it again.
