Mini chapter 2 Pre Thanksgiving A Flashback tale

During the holidays in fourth year, Alondra, Harper, and the Weasley's family were out at Diagon alley because Mis. Weasley had some last minute thanksgiving shopping to do. Harper, Alondra, and the Weasley twins entered the candy cauldron shop "Hello, welcome to candy cauldron what is your sweet tooth craving today?" Asked a witch at the shop counter "Hi I would like to get a job application if this shop is still looking for workers" Alondra asked the witch "OH MY WIZARD GOD! Mrs. Candy come quickly!" The witch said "Oh what is it now Amber" Mis. Candy the elderly shop owner said "Look, doesn't this girl look like-" "Oh your right we'll talk about this later" Mis. Candy whispered to Amber the witch "My name is Mis. Candy I am the owner and creator of this shop. How may I help you, dears?" Mis. Candy asked kindly and sweetly "Hi I'm Alondra I was wondering if you had any applications for the summer internships if not it's ok" Alondra wondered "Why yes of course we do didn't you see the now hiring sign out front it's quite small so not many people notices, Hm no wonder why we don't get any young ones asking for internships for our summer internships, but yes of course we do here fill this out and send a letter to me at the end of the week with this application filled out" Mis. Candy said as she handed the application paper to Alondra "Is that all you want?" Mis. Candy asked "I would also like this honeysuckle syrup and honey pudding" Alondra said as she put the items she wanted to buy onto the register counter "Ok, Amber count that up" Mis. Candy said as she walked off and told them goodbye "Seventeen galleons please" Amber said while Alondra gave Amber the money. After Alondra paid for her items she left the store with her application in her hand "Bye thanks for shopping at the candy cauldron have a sweet day tell your friends to bring their sweet tooths" Amber said as she let everyone go off to enjoy their day.

A few days later during the day before thanksgiving Alondra and Harper finally mailed out Alondra's application to candy cauldron shop. One week after Alondra sent out her letter her owl Pluto finally came back with a letter in its claw "Hey Harp it finally came back" Alondra said with excitement "What does it say?" Harper asked "Ok so after all the application work I filled out Mis. Candy sent a note with a candy wrapper around it" Alondra told Harper "Oh how sweet" Harper said "Ok the note says:

Dear Alondra Diamond I immediately had to hire you because once I saw you and heard your last name I knew it, I used to work with your mother. She started working for me at the same age you did 14 years old. We would love to have you work stocking our shelves and working the cash register from time to time during this year and hopefully every summer. Once you graduate Hogwarts we would love to have you work full time if you would like. Thank you and we can't wait to have you during this summer. You look so much like your mum, Maria Diamond. I almost mistaked you for her. I can't wait to tell you stories about her when you come to work for me. Have a sweet day honey.

Alondra read the note and finally fell asleep with a smile on her face, happily desperately waiting for the summer to start.
