Dumbledore announced that the duel will being "Ok students I hope you are ready" He said walking to the end of the dueling stand of Alondra's side while Snape was behind Harper "For this duel we'll be doing a quick one, name a spell that comes up to you head" Snape said in his usual cold tone while looking at Alondra. Once the dueling teams were assigned. Alondra and Harper went to each other because they were each other's dueling partners as always "Ok you may begin" Snape said as everyone started dueling. As Alondra and Harper were dueling each other, Harper blasted the first charm spell as a joke, only playing with magic "Rictusempra" a blast of light hit Alondra right in the stomach and Alondra laughed because the hex was made to tickle her "Harp you know how insanely ticklish I am! why would you do that!?" Alondra yelled out in laughter "Because it's funny why not?" Harper said laughing as well. Snape glared over at Harper and Alondra as he shook his head and walked over to them "What is happening here. This is supposed to be a serious self defensive club. If you do not treat this class with respect then you will find yourself out of here before you can say 10 points away from Gryffindor and Ravenclaw" Snape told Alondra and Harper slowly "Hey you said we can practice any spell we wanted" Alondra said getting a bit angry "Well in this case I meant to say otherwise. Oh and I will be taking those points away now and if I have to, more will be taken away if you talk back or do funny spells again. Only defensive spells will be used in this club, understand?" Snape told the dueling duo "Yes professor" both girls said in sadness "Good and I better not have any laughter from the two of you anymore" Snape finally said as he walked off in disappointment in his daughter and not amused. Once Alondra and Harper went back to their business Harper said "That wasn't fare how professor took away those points the group over there with Pansy and Millicent were laughing the entire time way before us and not even practicing and your father- I mean professor Snape doesn't care to acknowledge them" "Clearly we know what his favorite house is at this point" Alondra said "Yeah more like his favorite students'' Harper said as both girls took their practice much seriously going forward into the class. They could not afford any more loss of points from either of their houses. Even though the girls thought this treatment was unfair they thought to play by the rules for once because they didn't want their house members to be upset with them. Alondra started to get angry and started to mumble "I bet we wouldn't get points taken away if I was in Slytherin" "What was that Lon?" Harper asked Alondra "I bet he would have loved me more or even wouldn't make me keep a secret" Alondra started to tear up "Maybe...Maybe he would be proud to call me his daughter" Alondra whipped her wand and blasted a spell that hit Harper "L-Lon!" Harper yelled out "Why couldn't I be what he wanted me to be" Alondra looked at Harper "Alondra what's going on! Are you ok!?" Harper saw Alondra and was dismayed, Alondra looked broken. "What happened if I was Gryffindor..would he abandon me?" Alondra raised her wand "Would he?" Harper was worried but also scared for she knows what's about to happen next...
