Sorry for not updating recently! I've been busy with my exams! But I'm here now! Kekeke.

Just before we reached our house, I told the taxi driver to drop me off by the pavement near the bus stop.

"Where are you going?" Mama asked.

"To meet a friend. Don't worry I won't go home late." I looked at her reassuringly.

She nodded. I hopped off and stomped away. I was still angry about 'that family' meeting. I felt that I should cool down before going back home to face my mother.

I walked on and on. Honestly, I didn't really have a destination in mind. I tried calling Minji earlier on but I couldn't reach her. When I looked up, I realised I was at the recreational area with benches. I sat on an empty bench and heaved a sigh.

This place was where people could play soccer or basketball. It was a rather big space and I had never been here before. I took my phone out and realised that Minji had tried calling me back. I dialled her number and waited for her to pick up.

"Hey." I said.

"What's up? Is there anything wrong?" Minji asked.

"Nah. Nothing. I thought I wanted to ask you out but I changed my mind." I replied.

"Oh okay then. If you need me, I'm only a call away! Bye!" Minji exclaimed.

I smiled and put my phone down. I glanced at the guys playing basketball and looked away. Yes, I was rather shy around the opposite gender whom I barely knew.

All of a sudden, I felt someone sitting beside me. I turned to look at the person. I tried looking discreetly to avoid seeming too flustered. It was a guy around my age or slightly older. He had his hair dyed chestnut brown and he was wiping his face with his towel. I looked down at my knees.

"Hey Minhyuk! Don't laze around and get back in the game!" Someone shouted.

His voice got louder as he got nearer. "Quickly! We're about to lose here."

There was a short pause.

"Oh. Is that you Youngji?" I jumped at hearing my name and looked up.

He laughed at my reaction. My eyes got wider and I didn't know what to say. So I just nodded.

The guy named Minhyuk looked questioningly at Dujun. "Oh my classmate from Elementary school."

"Hey Minhyuk. You go and continue the game with the others. I wanna catch up with her." Dujun said.

My heart thumped at that. Darn it. Stop thumping. You promised to forget him.

"But I thought you said we were losing! Shouldn't you play too?" Minhyuk whined.

"Shut up and get lost boy." Dujun pushed him off the bench.

"Okay, okay. No need to be so rough man." He ran off.

He was on my left and I was facing my right. It was really awkward.

"So.. its a nice day isn't it?" Dujun started.
I rolled my eyes and faced him. "Not at all. Its the worst day ever if you ask me."

Dujun was stunned at my sudden outburst. He chuckled and leaned back on the bench.

"Looks like someone had a bad day. You haven't changed much have you. You're still that moody girl in school." He commented.

"Excuse me. I am NOT moody. I just have MY bad moments and YOU happen to see me in those moments most of the time." I reasoned.

"Chill girl. I was just kidding. Sorry." He turned serious.

I saw his sincerity and nodded.

"Its okay. I just flared up because something unpleasant came up. I'm sorry too." I explained.

Dujun nodded in understanding. He hesitated slightly. "You.. wanna talk about it?"

I shook my head. "Nah."

I wanted to take this chance to clear the air.

I hesitated before saying, "..You know I've always wondered. Have you ever had a crush on someone in our class?"

I avoided eye contact with him and bit my lip. He was silent for a while.

"Y-yes. What about you?" He asked.

"M-me too. But I doubt I would be reciprocated." I commented.

"You still like him? I still like that crush of mine." He said softly but loud enough for me to hear.

I looked at him tenderly and said. "Yeah I guess. Can you tell me who your crush is?"

I held my breath as I waited for the moment of truth. This was what I had been wanting to hear. How many years it has been. I played around with my fingers and stared at it.

"I- its you."

I let the air out of my mouth as I snapped my head up to him.

I widened my eyes as my heartbeat quickened. I laughed it off.

"You're kidding right! You were like the coolest kid in school but you liked the unknown kid?"

He turned his whole body to face me. "No. Its true. I do like you but I never had the courage to tell you the truth."

Hearing him tell me that, I decided to confess too. This was my chance!

I managed to let out a sentence. "You're my crush too."

He was surprised and stood up from the bench. "Really?! Oh god. This has got to be the best news ever!"

He jumped around and did some weird stunts.

"Youngji we should meet more often!" He shouted at the top of his lungs.

I laughed and didn't know what to say. I nodded. This was just awkward. We liked each other for years even without seeing one another.

"Dujun we were never close so I think we should take it slow. You get what I mean?" I said, afraid of hurting his feelings.

"Yes of course! My sentiments too! Come on, I'll introduce you to my friends." Dujun held my hand and dragged me.
