Hurt me with the truth but never comfort me with a lie.

It's Friday, which means I'm walking with Amelia to her house for the weekend. I've learned a long time ago that my dad is more abusive on the weekends so all my friends help by letting me spend the weekend at their house. Good thing I have more than four. Amelia's house is farther from the school than mine, it's like a fourty-five minute walk, but we choose to walk.

I fumbled with my phone to hurry and turn off the alarm before it went off. For some unknown reason, I always wake up a minute before the set time on my alarm. I guess my mind is like a minute ahead, I can't believe seventh grade is almost over, we only have like three weeks left. I should be excited, I don't have to wake up at six in the morning or stay up till eleven at night doing homework, but I'm gonna be spending more time at home possibly, which means more beatings. I don't blame anyone, not even my dad. It's not his fault he got addicted to alcohol and can't control his actions when he's under the influence.

I also know it's not my fault, but sometimes it feels like it is. Why else would a father hit his daughter, at least I'm good with pain and heal fast otherwise I could be dead by now. Yeah I know, no one deserves to be beaten by their father, but I'll be out of the house the night before I turn eighteen. I got up and got ready for school, once I brushed my hair and teeth and was dressed, I grabbed my phone and ear buds before leaving my room and out the front door. Wayne dropped out of school, Seth and Blake already graduated. As I walked down my street, I remember how I told Amy I cut myself.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~FLASHBACK~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I saw Amy getting pushed by the cheer captain, I punched her in the face. I didn't care if I got detention, I know Amy would do the same thing for me. I looked down and saw that Amy had pushed up her jacket sleeves, exposing razor scars, when she saw me staring she pulled her sleeves back down. "I-I'm sorry I didn't want you to find out this way." She said, smiling sadly. She always smiles like that before she cries. I didn't say a word, I grabbed her upper arm and pulled her into the girls bathroom.
"How long have you been cutting?" I asked, feeling the tears wanting to fall. "About three weeks ago." She said, looking down as tears hit the tiled floor of the bathroom. "Why?" I asked, hilding back a sob. "The bullying." She said, still not looking up. I pulled up my jean shorts and showed her the barely there cut on my thigh. "I've been doing it since I was ten, for three years, and for some reason they never scar tomarrow this will be gone." I say, swallowing the bile rising in my throat.
~~~~~~~~~END OF FLASHBACK~~~~~~~~~
That was at the beginning of the year, me and Amy decided to tell Gabbie at the same time when she showed us her scars. I looked up to see I was in front of the school. When I heard my name, I saw Amy running to me, I head someone mutter freak. Before Amy could stop me, I turned around to face the person.

"I know how to hide a dead body, and I have people who would help me even though I don't need it. Unless you want to be an example I suggest you shut the fuck up." I snapped, clenching and unclenching my hands into fists. Scared the person turned around and left. I turned back to Amy to see her looking at me wide eyed. "You didn't have to do that." She said, shaking her head, before smiling like a crackhead with a pound of crack. "I wanted to though." I said, smiling just as big before we walked into the school.

"Don't forget your staying at mine this weekend." She said, pointing a finger at me. "I know, I also know that we're walking there as usual." I replied, putting her finger by her side. When we stepped inside the cafeteria, I saw Gabbie sitting in our usual spot. "Hey." I said, before sitting down next to Gabbie. "Hey." She said, glumly. "What's wrong?" Amy asked, sitting on the other side of Gabbie. "Well, I was walking and that bitch Samantha tripped me. Right in front of everyone." She said, exasperated. "Oh. Hell. No." I said, standing back up. "Reggie, don't do anything stupid." Amy warned. "But she tripped Gabbie." I said childishly. "It's fine really." Gabbie said, looking panicked.

"Fine." I sighed, and sat back down. I'm tired of other people's stupid shit. I thought imagining I was beating in Samantha's face. A sadistic smile curved my lips before I could stop it. When the bell rang, I jumped in surprise before picking up my back pack and begun my walk to first period. "Haha, the bell scared you." Amy said, knowing what I was thinking of. "Yeah well, over half the school is scared of me soooo...." I trailed off, letting her mind come up with scenarios. "Guys, we should go to a 5sos concert." Gabbie said, looking excited just from the thought. "Yeah with what money?" I asked sarcastically and rolling my eyes. Gabbie's face fell as Amy's face lit up.

"Well, we could always rob a bank." Amy said, tapping her chin. "Yeah and we can drive there on a pink unicorn." I joked. "No not pink.....black." Amy said, either missing or ignoring the sarcasm in my voice. "No way, it should be teal." Gabbie argued. I rolled my eyes and continued my walk to history. "Whatever, see y'all later." I said, before entering the classroom and took my seat behind one of my other friends, Molly, I help her do her reading homework and by help I mean I just do the whole paper. Good thing we have the same teacher.
