Half Vampire Half Fae

Chapter Six

Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die tomorrow.

When I brung Amy home, it was barely noon. As soon as I saw her walk up the steps, I turned and ran back over to Blake, who was still in the woods. When I was standing in the woods, I saw him on the phone. The voice on the other side was a woman, Blake was so preoccupied with the conversation he didn't notice me standing there. "Yes I know Claire, that you're not a sample of fae blood, but if you really loved me you'd let my little sister taste your blood." Blake said, pacing up and down the path.

"But if you loved me you won't make me do this." The voice I'm beggining to not like said from the other end. "I do love you, but I love my sister more, and if that means we're breaking up so be it I'm not abandoning my sister again for some side hoe." My brother said, rage showing clearly in his tireless pacing. "Well fine it's over. I'll be at the apartment tonight to get my things." The woman said, and shortly after my brother hung up then Blake turned around and noticed me for the first time. "How much of that did you hear?" Blake asked, looking surprised and worried.

"From the Yes I know your not a blood sample to the end." I said casually, I kind of liked it when he chose me over her. "Okay then...we have to go find a fae or an elemental." Blake said, running to the other side of the woods in vampire speed. I ran as fast as I could, I was concentrating so hard on the back of his head I didn't notice he stopped running. I ran into him and nearly fell on my butt. "Why one or the other?" I asked, getting back to my feet. "Because, if you taste all of them but vampire then when you don't recognize the taste you'd know it was vampire." That makes sense.

I looked up to see us in front of a gas station. "Do you see that blonde guy behind the register? He's an elemental, but he doesn't know it yet. You could pass as sixteen, so go over there and seduce him. Then bite him you can either drink till he losses consciousness or take a little and make him forget, either way he won't remember." Blake said handing me a five dollar bill. "And get me some gum, I want my change back." Then Blake pushed me into the store.

I walked over to the isle with the gum, when I felt the guy looking at me I started swaying my hips. I grabbed some juicy fruit gum and walked over to the counter. The store was empty besides the old man in front of me that was buying a six pack of bud light. When the man left the store I set the gum down and waited makig sure to lean down so he had a good veiw. "That will be $3.45." The guy said, I pretended to drop the money and turned so he could see my ass when I picked it up. "Sorry, I've been dropping everything today." I said, making myself blush for effect.

"No problem, here's your change." He said putting the money on the counter, before he could pull his arm away I grabbed the collar of his shirt and kissed him roughly. "I want you now." I seductively wispered in his ear. He nodded before pulling me over the counter and bringing me into the employee room. I kissed his lips again and slowly went to his neck, where I let my fangs out and bit him. Before I could get carried away I memorized the taste and pulled away.

"You will forget I made any sexual contact with you and forget that I bit you." I said, looking deep into his eyes before I used my speed to edit the camera footage and sped to the counter. I grabbed the gum and change before walking out the door. I met with Blake in the parking lot and handed him the gum and money. "Operation fae blood sample complete." I said, saluting towards Blake. "Call me after you tell Gabbie." Blake said, before disappearing.

I walked in human speed to Gabbie's house, when I got there I saw Amy and Gabbie sitting outside on the concrete. When Amy saw me she waved me over before turning to Gabbie. "Now that Reggie is here, we can tell you what's going on." Amy said, while Gabbie looked at me expectantly. "I-I'm half vampire and I turned yesterday when these pedophiles tried to rape me and Amy when we were walking to her house. I told my brother, Blake, and he came by and told me a bunch of stuff and we found out Amy is a wizard. I had to taste Blake's, Amy's, and this random guy from a gas station to learn the different tastes." I said, wincing back a little waiting to be told I was insane, but it was dead silent.

"I believe you, but I want you to show me." Gabbie said, her voice wavering. I willed my fangs to come out and my eyes to turn red. When I looked back at Gabbie, I saw her shock. I flashed her my teeth and she leaned in to get a better look. "Damn, those things are sharp." Gabbie said, leaning away. "Yeah, and I need to taste your blood to find out what you are since you believe me and didn't faint." I said, my voice sounding weird because of the fangs.

"Will it hurt?" Gabbie asked, looking worried for the first time since the confession. "Yeah, I haven't learned to send out emotions to make the pain dim, but I'll try." I said going to bite my lip until I realized I still had my fangs out. "Please make it quick." Gabbie said, moving her hair out the way and tilting her head to the side. I leaned in and bit her, I didn't recognize the taste so I knew it was elemental. Quickly I pulled away and licked the wound. "You're elemental." I say before dialing Blakes number again in the last twenty-four hours.
