He ignores you but you like him, he does nothing yet you fall for him, you miss him even though you know he's never thought about you.

I was walking to first period, and got another one of those arrogant smiles from Corvus. What is that look for? I kept walking, when I sat in my seat the tardy bell rang. "We are going to try to send an illusion to several people." The teacher stated, clapping his hands together. The whole class groaned, I slammed my head on the desk. "Let's go in alphabetical order." Great, I'm last.

Everyone pretty much failed until it was my turn. I stood and walked to the front of the class. I sent an illusion of a tornado and everyone was in it. When I couldn't hild it anymore, I dropped it and went back to my seat. "Regan is the most successful in this class." The teacher exclaimed, making everyone shoot me daggers while I sank lower in my seat. The teacher started talking about being able to use an illusion on several people is a good essential. When the bell rang, I sighed in relief before heading out the door to second period.

I went into the locker room and changed, just as I walked out so did Corvus. I've only been here three days and I seen him everywhere. I straight up ignored him and kept walking into the gym. "Wheeler!" I jumped as the coach called my name, I jogged iver to where he was standing. "I want you to help me demonstrate a move today." The coach demanded, while straightening his back to look taller. "Okay coach." I replied, turning to see the whole class was in the gym and were staring at me.

"Today, I'm going to teach you the correct way on hiw to do an offensive move. When you have the other person pinned on the ground, you want to straddle their hips and hold their arms above their head with one hand and use the other to choke them." Coach explained. "There is no way out of this hold." He added before turning to me. Before I could even blink, he had tripped me and straddled my hips with one hand holding my wrists above mt head and the other on my throat. I just sat there, thinking on how to get out.

Then I realized it. Coach is about twice my weight, if I could use his own weight against him I could get out. Then I looked at his posture. Stiff as a board. Before I could secomd guess myself, I made my move. I swung my legs up and wrapped my feet jusr barely around the coach's neck and pushed him off. When he tried to catch his balance, he let go of my throat. I sat on his chest and used both hands to hold his wrists above his head. I was slightly panting while coach looked like he was breathing for his life.

"Next time, you want to embarass me, make sure you plan it out more." I suggested before getting up and walking out the gym. I heard coach calling after me, but I didn't care. I needed to get some fresh air before my fangs come out and everyone knows my secret. I used my vampire speed to go into the woods. I knew I was being followed, but I could easily make them forget they saw me running. When I got to the place where I had followed Corvus to, I stopped and sat down putting my forehead against my knees. I heard someone sit next to me, I just ignored them. It felt like hours but I knew it was only minutes when the person tapped me on my shoulder. I cussed the person out in French. "Moitié t'a." I muttered, knowing the person could hear me. I looked up to see Trevor. What the fuck. "I'm sorry, I don't speak Spanish." Trevor spoke up smiling slightly. "One, it's French, not Spanish. Two, it means God damn you." I retorted, pissed this is the person that followed me. Well, who did you expect it to be. My conscience countered, I rid my thoughts of that person.

"Well then. Anyways, you run fast for a human." Trevor remarked. Damn. "Well, I used to run all the time before I was kidnapped, and then there is the adrenaline from the fight." I reasoned. Nice save. "That makes sense." Trevor nodded his head slowly. I looked at the time on my phone to see that it was almost time for third period. "We should get going." I stated, a blank expression on my face. "You just spoke my thoughts." Trevor laughed.

I just got up and started slow jogging back to the school, Trevor next to me. "What type of shapeshifter are you?" I asked, trying to make conversation. "I'm a grizzly bear." He replied, stopping before taking off his shoes, socks, shorts, and shirt. He looked at me apologetically before turning into a huge brown bear. He looked at me then his clothes and back to me, understanding I picked up his clothes while he gave me a bear smile that looked more like a grimace. I was about to start walking when Trevor did a bow motion. I didn't hesitate on jumping onto his back. "Onward my trusty stead!" I exclaimed giggling.

Trevor snorted before running full speed to the school, when we got into the parking lot I hopped off his back while he shifted back behind a car. He was blushing when he was human. "Sorry about stripping in front of you back there, but I had to. My clothes would rip to shreds, and can you pass me my clothes?" Trevor asked sheepishly. I threw him the clothes and walked inside the school. Just as I got in front if my third period, the bell rang. I walked in to see the second worst sight of my life.
