Boys think of girls just like books if the cover doesn't catch their eyes, they won't even bother to read what's inside.
After lunch, I went to my next class, Glamours. I'm not sure I can do anything but disappear so this might lead to another embarassing encounter on my first day. When I walked in, people had heard about d and f class. When a group of bitches saw me they started laughing. "Haha very funny barbie's ugly twin brother." I remarked, before laughing at everyone's shock faces. "At least I know how to fight." The head bitch sneered.
"At least I know how to make you fear for your life." I retorted just as the teacher came in and the tardy bell rang. "Okay class, today we will see how long we can hold up a glamour. I will give you a description to change to, and some of you may be told to disappear." The teacher said, as she handed slips of paper. "You must be Regan, here is your description." She said, before going to the student behind me. I looked at my description, brown hair and blue eyes. I prayed that I don't embarass myself again.
"Now imagine your description on you, then imagine everyone else seeing that description." She said, I closed my eyes and when I imagined everyone else seeing me like that I felt the tingly sensation again, but this time I held onto it. I opened my eyes and saw that a lot of people looked different and there wasn't anyone at two desks, but I could hear their heartbeat with my vampire hearing. Everyone gradually started to drop their glamour while I kept mine going. When I felt I would faint, I dropped my glamour.
After a minute for the teacher to recover from her shock, she started talking about the importance of details in your glamour and the longer you hold it, the less people notice the difference. I must've zoned out because when the bell rang, I jumped nearly three inches out my chair, but I hit my knees on the underside of my desk. I groaned in pain, good thing my next class is a free period. Instead of going home like most poeple probably do, I set an alarm to go off five minutes before the bell rings, dismissing me to my last class.
I decided to explore the woods, if I was still helpless the thought would never cross my mind, but now I'm not thinking twice about it. I was close to the middle, when I decided to sit down and think. This would be a great cutting spot. I cringed at the thought, I haven't cut since two nights before I was kidnapped, nearly four years ago. I looked around for a while before checking the time on my phone, half of fifth period is over, this school ends at two. I was thinking about heading back when I noticed something, or someone.
I just saw red, my thoughts immediately went to Corvus Williams. But it could be someone else. I rejected the thought, but then I decided to follow him. I stayed fifty feet away from him until he stopped by a lake and sat down. Using my skills, I made myself disappear from sight, rememberimg that he would be able to hear my heartbeat I imagined it diapperaimg and hoped it worked. I decided to sit next to him, I had that sudden urge it was so strong I gave in. When I sat down, he looked straight at me and my glamour faltered.
"Stop stalking me fae." He snarled, I remembered that he thinks that anyone not a vampire is weak, and any vampire that's not him is weaker because they have the potential to be stronger but they don't use it. I dropped my glamour and defended my case. "I wasn't following you, I was walking in the woods when I saw you run pass me and I was curious as to where you were going." I argued and crossed my arms and dared him with my eyes to object. "You just admitted it." He deadpanned. I thought back to our conversation. "Oh." I muttered.
There was like a ten minute silence. "Won't you leave already?" He asked, rudely. Asshole. "No, I won't." I replied. "God you're annoying." He said under his breath. "Yes I am, and you're a jackass." I replied, mentally high fiving myself. I checked the time on my phone. I then looked at Corvus, who seemed bored out of his mind. "I should start going back towards the school, but this conversation isn't over."I threatened, putting my phone in my pocket and turning around. I looked back at him to see he was still looking at the lake.
As I walked, my mind wandered back at how Alex as the same eyes and smells like Gabbie, and they looked a like just Alex had bright red hair. Macy had the same smell and eyes like Amy except instead of light brown hair she has black. Speaking of different hiar colors, I still need to decide on what I want to do with my hair. Maybe bright color streaks? If so what color? Purple? Teal? Hot pink? Blood red? All of them? I think I'll go with all of them.
When I got back to the school, the alarm I set went off. I turned it off and sat on a bench outside the cafeteria doors, when a shapeshifter sat in front of me. I looked up to see it was Trevor, I groaned. "Are you socially akward?" He asked, I held in a laugh. "A little, but my main problem is P.B.S." I replied, looking around when I saw the red hair. Wow, he's everywhere and no where all at once. "What's that?" Trevor asked, looking completely dumbfounded. I knew Corvus was in vamp hearing range, so I decided to tell him. "Psychotic bitch syndrome." I explained.
Trevor looked scared for a second before he smirked.
