Hollow Knight Oneshots/Scenarios (Currently on Hiatus/Hold)

~•How They Cheer You Up•~

~•Ghost/The Knight•~

-Ghost has...interesting ways to help.

-They first try to figure out what's wrong.

-Once they do, they threaten to kill it.

-You've tried telling them they can't kill sadness, but they counter with the fact they have a dreamnail.

-No matter how many times it won't work, they keep trying.

-Eventually they give up and climb onto your shoulders to sit on your head.

-That's what usually works.

-You find it adorable when they do that.

-Then they get adorably angry that they did all that dreamnailing for nothing, which makes you laugh more.

~•Hornet•~

-She isn't always the best at this and knows that.

-But she still tries.

-Once she figures out what's wrong, she tries to figure out how to comfort you.

-Mostly it ends up just being her sitting beside you in silence for a bit.

-Then she says something.

-When you're about to reply, she gets up and hugs you.

-Then she leaves.

-Knowing that she's trying makes you smile a little.

~•Hollow•~

-They don't care why you're sad. They just want to see you happy again.

-They pick you up with their arm and begin going somewhere.

-No matter how many times you ask where they are taking you, they don't reply.

-They keep going until they get to the Howling Cliffs.

-They sit down in the edge of the cliff behind Gorb's grave with you in their lap.

-It's one of your favorite places. And Hollow knows that.

-They assume a favorite place can cheer someone up.

-They are right most of the time as seeing this place does cheer you up.

~•Quirrel•~

-You have to tell him what's wrong or else he starts worrying.

-Once he knows, He doesn't press you on it.

-Instead he gets you a blanket and some of your favorite things.

-Usually he leaves you alone and occasionally checks on you.

-There are times though when you don't want him to go.

-He doesn't mind and always does his best to comfort you.

-He won't leave you on your own until you feel better.

-You like that he cares so much. It makes you feel better about yourself.

~•Tiso•~

-When you're upset is one of the few times when he's not acting all snarky.

-He doesn't really know how to comfort or  cheer someone up.

-He just kind of sits there and pats your back.

-If anything comes near you he fends it off with his shield.

-He just sits there patiently, which is very out of character for him.

-Occasionally he'll whistle a tune.

-If you recognize the tune you hum along. That makes you feel better.

-He tends to whistle one you know so that you can feel better.

-You love humming along with him. And when he's not being snarky.

~•Grimm•~

-He hates seeing you upset.

-He gets you a blanket and Grimmchild to hold.

-If he has a show that day, he gives you a front row seat so that he can see if he's helping.

-It usually works as you love his shows and 'dances.'

-If that doesn't work, he sits with you after and tries to help from there.

-He won't let you leave until you feel better.

-He also won't leave you alone.

-He hugs you, listens to you, and even tries to crack some jokes.

-That's what usually gets you. His jokes are so cheesy since it's not his speciality.

~•Lost Kin•~

-They don't know what to do half the time.

-They sit you down and just sit beside you.

-You both just sit in silence.

-This worries them and they feel like they should be helping, but don't know how.

-Then they remember.

-Headpats!

-You always give them headpats when they get upset.

-They stand up and and begin to pat your head, which usually startles you.

-You chuckle at their actions, which makes them happy. They're helping!

-They keep doing this until you aren't upset anymore.

-Headpats fix all! - According to Lost.
