Mantis Lords x Injured Child!Reader - Poor Child

I named the Mantis Lords Ivy, Ellys, and Alaina bc Im pretty sure they don't have cannon names.

(Y/N) POV:

I fell into the Fungal Wastes and landed on my ankle badly. Some husks were chasing me and I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. I slowly stood up, balancing on my good leg. My mom had vanished a while ago and I missed her. I limped my way a little ahead. Then a mushroom jumped to life and screeched at me. Well, maybe it was a battle cry. I jumped out of its way and tried to run. I fell forwards and crawled under a ledge. The mushroom lost sight of me and went back to sleep. I hugged my knees to my chest. This infection was taking over everything! Even the mushrooms! A slashing noise knocked me out of my thoughts. I peeked out and saw a bug fighting the mushrooms. He slashed the last one and dodged the explosion.

"Wow." I breathed. The Warrior's head whipped around to me. I ducked back behind my rock, but I knew he saw me.

I heard him approaching and whimpered.

"Little one?" He asked. I turned to him. "You don't appear to be infected." He held out his claw to me. I held my legs closer. "I won't hurt you. You're a child. A small un-infected child needs protection."

I shakily stretched my arms out and held his claw. He pulled me forward and saw me fall. He picked me up and began walking.

"Wh-what's your name?" I asked the bug.

"Zander. I'm a Warrior of the Mantis Tribe." He replied. "You?"

"(Y/N). I used to wander around with my mother but then she vanished." I leaned into Zander a bit more. He nodded.

Ellys POV:

I'm borrrrredddddd. I was guarding the entrance to Deepnest right now and it was boring. Nothing usually happened now that we have a door. I leaned back in my throne. I was the middle sister. Alaina is the youngest with Ivy being the oldest. I heard someone fall through the entrance to the throne room. I turned and saw a warrior with something in his arms enter.

"Hello Warrior Zander. What do you need?" I asked. He gave a half bow.

"Lord Ellys, I found a little child and didn't want to leave them out there." I jumped down and landed before him.

"Are they infected?" I asked.

"No. They're eyes are completely normal and said no voice was in their head." Zander explained. I nodded. "I believe they may be injured as well because they weren't able to walk."

"Okay. I can have Alaina check them over. Can you watch the entrance to Deepnest? Get two more Warriors and maybe a Youth." Zander nodded. He handed me the kid and went to get his reinforcements.

He returned a few minutes later with some other mantises. I made my way up into the Lower Village. I went into the side area and the Warrior Guard let me in. I walked straight to the bench and placed the kid on it. They were out cold. Now where is Alaina...?

Ivy tends to patrol and Alaina...would most likely be in the Upper Village. I made my way up there. I looked around and didn't see Alaina. I checked the claw room, the lever rooms, the Warrior area, the Youth area, and couldn't find Alaina. 'I could try to do it myself.' I thought as I jumped back into the Lower Village. I walked back into the side room and I saw Alaina!

"Allay!" I called, running up to her.

"Oh hey El! I saw this bug was injured." Alaina said, continuing to bandage the sleeping (B/T)(Bug type)'s leg. Ivy was really overprotective when Alaina was younger so Alaina spent a lot of time with the medics. "Where'd they come from?"
