Hollow Knight Oneshots/Scenarios (Currently on Hiatus/Hold)

~•When They're Scared•~

~•Ghost/The Knight•~

-Ghost apparently has a fear of Loodles.

-You two were going through the Queen's Gardens as you were going with Ghost to see the White Lady.

-One jumped out from a bush.

-Ghost leaped into your arms like a cat.

-You laughed as a few more jumped out.

-You watched until you realized Ghost was shaking in your arms.

-You quickly walked through the room and over to where the Traitor Lord was defeated.

-You tried to put them down, but Ghost clung to your arm, still shaking.

-You held them instead, until they calmed down, which was when you entered the White Lady's place.

~•Hornet•~

-It's very rare for her to get scared.

-It's mostly a existential thing rather than a an animal or something.

-Usually she'll come up to you worrying that she's not good enough.

-She'll just hug you, wanting to be held.

-Wanting to be comforted like a child who just had a nightmare.

-You're more than happy to oblige.

-You always comfort her by telling her she's good enough.

-Hearing that from you helps a lot more than she lets on.

~•Hollow•~

-Hollow is very afraid of being forgotten and being alone.

-When you leave by yourself, they get scared.

-After a while, they start thinking you've forgotten them.

-They eventually just sit on the floor and cry.

-When you come home though, you sit down beside them and tap their mask.

-They look up and try to curl up around you.

-They feel better quite fast knowing you didn't forget them.

-They still hate being alone though.

-They're always scared no one is going to come when they need them.

~•Quirrel•~

-He's afraid of shades.

-He finds them a bit creepy and unnerving.

-You once entered Queen's Station and saw him staring down the Shade of the Knight.

-You walked up to him and he wasn't even looking at you.

-He seemed to be shaking slightly.

-The Shade floated there, watching.

-You asked him what was wrong.

-He told you that the Shade is quite deadly when it wants to be.

-The Knight soon came and defeated the Shade, then left.

-You hugged he trembling bug, who was quite perplexed that Ghost easily took on the Shade.

-He kind of leaned on you as you walked him to the bench.

~•Tiso•~

-Tiso is afraid of the dark.

-You found this out once when the lumaflies went out in a dark Stag Station.

-Tiso squealed hid his face.

-When you eventually got you lantern out, he immediately looked over.

-Before you even reacted, he almost tackle-hugged you.

-You looked around but saw nothing, then you realized it was the dark. Or what he thought was in it.

-You put the lantern more towards him to help him calm down.

-He tried to still refuse it out of pride, but it was clear he was scared when you had it fully.

-You put it right in between you two and rang the stag bell so you could get him out of there.

-He still refuses to admit he's scared of anything.

~•Grimm•~

-One of the only things you know him fearing is the failure of the ritual.

-He's scared that one won't bring the flame back and they'll die.

-He freaks out about it whenever he hasn't seen Ghost(and by extension, Grimmchild) in a while.

-You walk in and see him pacing around, muttering about how he can't have another child.

-You walk up to him and hug him.

-He sighs and sit down in front of you.

-Then he spills all his worries out.

-You offer to go find Ghost and Grimmchild and he accepts.

-You find the two in the City of Tears, chilling on the bench in the Watcher's Spire.

-You tell that to Grimm and he immediately feels better and hugs you.

~•Lost Kin•~

-They're really scared of the infected balloons.

-They really like the little vessel though.

-Whenever they see one, they run to you and hug onto your leg/waist.

-The Balloons aren't aggressive anymore, they just float around.

-Lost hates it when you play with them instead of killing them.

-If you try to show Lost that their nice, Lost will whimper and hide their face.

-You eventually pop the balloons and pick up Lost to comfort them.

-They lightly smack your face a few times until you threaten to put the down.

-Then they just angrily lay against your chest, still slightly shaking from being scared.
