Hornet x Male Reader - A Silly Opponent

Your POV:

You walked into the lush greenery on the west side of the Forgotten Crossroads. Greenpath. This area seems to have a different tone about it. It was nicer. More...lively.
Then you tripped. You looked back and saw a little moss creature. You kicked it away as it tried to bite you. You could see the infection leaking through its, admittedly quite cute, eyes. You jumped up and ran away from it. You entered a room after a bit and saw bug standing on a ledge. They wore a red dress-like cloak thing that swayed in the wind and had long white horns. You had to admit to yourself that she looked really pretty. You breathed in a sharp breath and she whipped around, noticing you.

She narrowed her black, pupil-less eyes at you before jumping back into the entrance in the ledge. You knew you couldn't reach up there by yourself, so you went down to find another way.

You found Cornifer nearby and bought one of his maps. You made you way over to the stag station, ignoring the huge Vengefly and the upset bug within its jaws. You made your way past the Moss Knights and found the Stag Station and took a quick break. Then you made you way through the carved stone entrance I. The wall. The lush greenery had little sun rays peeking through, making it even more beautiful. You walked up to a ledge and saw the same bug from the ledge near the entrance. You jumped down and she pointed her needle at you.

She started a monologue. You blinked at her. She turned around and prepared to fight you.

"Wait." She said suddenly. "You're not the little Ghost."

"The little what?" You asked.

"Forget it! I'll fight you anyway!" You dodged her first dash attack. You pulled out your nail and readied yourself for a fight.

~One Intense Fight Later~

You managed to win, but barely. Right after Hornet left, you fell into the ground and just laid there.
You got up after a bit, noticing the vessel leaning on a rock before had fallen forward. You walked up to it and stared. You patted its head before leaving. You came across an acid pit and realized you were stuck. You climbed back into the area where you fought the dress-cloaked bug. You realized you were still stuck.

You called out for the bug that you fought a few minutes prior. You heard a rustling behind you and there she was.

"Can you help me out?" You ask.

"Fine."

She grabbed your hand and pulled you both back up to the entrance.

"Look," She began. You looked at her. "I'm sorry about fighting you. I thought you were another one of those vessels."

"It's fine. I'm not dead, so we're good." You said. "I'll be on my way now." You began walking back out of the area.

Hornet POV:

How was he so fine with that?? Most people aren't fine after getting attacked by...well me. I jogged up to him.

"You're fine with that?" I asked.

"Yeah? Why wouldn't I be?" He stopped.

I stood in front of him, dumbfounded.

"What's your name?" He asked suddenly.

"I'm not telling you."

"Well I'm (Y/n)." He said.
