Just what to expect When a catholic school has uncomfortable yet cool looking uniforms white under shirt tucked in with a belt underneath dark black pants and dock martins a black blazer with a small line of red around the outlines a tie that's green with dark blue strips everyone had to wear this repeating pattern. Lame honestly the uniform got tiring to look at and so did my face I was drown by silent tears last night while I showered quite enjoyable but not fun for my burning eyes in the morning.

I wake up to the sound of knocking on our doors with just a simple sentence "time to wake up gents" I scoff in agony getting my eyes are sour (yes sour) my body is shaken up by the window pulling in cold breeze i remove the covers and look to Devon's side he doesn't seem to happy either I can't bother looking at him any longer I'm quite annoyed about a lot I get up grabbing my uniform as I begin undressing and quickly dressing again. Pulling my blazer over my shoulders I get my shoes putting them on as I finally hear Devon rustling through his clothes getting ready I let out a sigh before going to my bag which had my prescriptions minus the weed it was my anxiety medicine I take one pill then the shove it in my bag swallowing it with no water I I turn to Devon as he looks away quickly "i see.." I say under my breath before grabbing my back opening the door and heading to the restroom.

Me and Devon sit next to each other in silence while eating breakfast I don't really touch mine I'm just not hungry I hear footsteps get louder it's Lexi and her roommate? They both sit down with their trays "so how's it so far for you guys?" Lexi ask seeming happy but probably not "uh it's good I got good rest!" Devon says happily but a bit drowned "uh...it was... something I guess?" I shrug "you guess?" Before I respond she rambles "was it good sleep or not?!" She bites her apple I look at Devon then back at her closing my eyes shrugging again "no." I say truthfully "i indeed didn't sleep well but I'm glad you guys did!" I say putting on a fake smile before leaving to find a library or even better a place to cry myself a river I ended up in the study hall finding a seat paying attention to the deep room with bookshelves could be a library it had its basic wall paper and wooden texture I rest my head.

"Jake?" I hear my name looking up and turning my back it's Devon "oh there you are!" He says smiling before coming towards me I turn away quickly wiping my drool his foot steps get louder. "I've been looking for you... this school it's quite... big!" He says hoping for a response I can't bring myself to say anything all I hear is a chair pull out and Devon place his back down scooting in the chair closer to me. "Are you-" "yeah.. I'm fine" I smile ironically turning my eyes away from him "you don't seem to be saying the truth..." I shrug no comment needed
"Listen what happened yesterday with you and my mom it dosent effect our friendship I trust you..." I look over the word friendship wishing for more with a guy who's "straight" I look at him he seems upset "and I know... a couple words can't fix how you feel but I want you to be happy not sad... I don't believe that you would kill anyone... my mom just has- crazy theory's!" He finishes off with a sigh leaning back in his chair.

"Why do you trust me?" I say quietly but loud enough for him to hear a wave of silence goes by before he responds "because I know you wouldn't lie to me.." he smiles as we lock eyes "but how are you so sure..." he opens his eyes before scoffing "Jake your not a murder it was the damn doll you know I trust you for other reason's right... I mean your a sweet guy you wouldn't lie to me I know you wouldn't!" He goes off on how I'm to sweet I just let him maybe he sees me as a friend a friend is better then not having him I sigh.
"We should uh get to our class!" I mention as we both rush to our hour.
