A/N: For context, read 'Never Really Over' and 'Midnight' first before this one. I have arranged the chapters in chronological order.

They are too good at goodbyes, even when what they have is too good to say goodbye to.

The rumble of the dark sky is not what wakes Cha Mi-jo up this morning. It's also not the rustle of the duvets. And not even the humming sound of the television in the background.

It's the light touches on her forehead.

And the swift brushes on both her eyelids.

Even in her sleepy state, the celebrity dermatologist has a good guess of what is currently happening; she decides to stay still and collect more evidence to her hypothesis as the loving caresses come down to her cheeks.

First on the right, then on to the left, making sure both of them get the same attention.

Pretty sure someone is kissing her all over her face. There's no way she's wrong about this.

But who?

Mi-jo tries to remember what she did the night before. She remembers getting picked up by Seon-woo and having dinner with him after work, then having drinks at her sister's apartment before—

Her train of thought halts when she feels a soft kiss planted on her lips, continued with a whisper of promise.

"See you soon, Princess."

Princess?

There's only one person who ever calls her with that endearment.

Mi-jo immediately opens her eyes upon realizing that the baritone belongs to her lover and her heart lurches at the sight that welcomes her. It is something so familiar to her, she can hear her heart breaking from a mile away; the view of his back walking away from her.

"Oppa—" she speaks hoarsely, making the man stops on his track. "Are you leaving?"

Dae-sik turns around and a smile breaks on his rugged face at the sight of her. "I thought you're still asleep."

"Don't go." She reaches out to him, extending her hand towards him which he takes quite easily as he sits down at the edge of the bed.

"I'm sorry, I'm gonna have to."

Her heart sinks to hear his answer despite how predictable it actually is. What exactly does she expect? That he suddenly stays?

Never leaving her again?

Tsk, keep dreaming, Cha Mi-jo.

"Tell me what's on your mind." She must have kept her silence for too long as his voice softly coaxes her back to present. Oh, who is she kidding? Even without that, she is already an open book to his observant eyes.

"It's nothing important. Go now."

"If I go, you will say I'm clueless. Which I totally am, if you're not telling me."

She definitely will. Call him clueless. And a bunch of other names, probably.

Mi-jo sighs then closes her face. "Will I get to see you today?"

God, she hates how clingy she sounds. If there's a downside to them being together for more than one night, it's this show of vulnerability. It's good that she closes her face, or she will be embarrassed to see his smiling face over her question.

"Why, miss me already, Princess?" He pulls her hands from her face tenderly.

"Stop teasing me. I hate this."
